Beautiful remote village, nothing there, ideal to calm down. There's plenty of information for activities as hiking routes and a artificial climbing wall for kids. A few cute cats as well. In the spacious hall there is a fridge and a microwave free to use. Nice hot showers I was allowed to park my bike inside. You can hear the sea at night. Good wi-fi Flexible with check out

If the place is fully booked in high season it's probably quite hectic. But I was lucky and off season. No shop in the village, bring your own food. I'm not a big fan of room perfume, but other people might like it.

Calnegre doesn't have any shops (apart from a tocacconist) and the bar/restaurants shut early out of season (6-7pm). Go prepared.

Way better than expected! Photos on booking .com are old and dated ..much better in real life Private bathroom that isn't advertised ,sea view clean bedding , spacious Basic but fabulous value for money Amir checked us in and was very friendly and informative

Mattresses not that comfy

Next to the beach, room and bathroom very clean, very kind and helpful staff, easy to store the bicycles in a secure area, very spacious outdoor area and indoor shared space.

Noisy, we could hear people around and walking by the room door, it was a bit cold and there wasn't heating option.

Emile the Ukrainian host was exceptional, he couldn't do enough to make my stay a very comfortable one

The room was basic but clean and the bed comfortable. Don't pay extra for a view, nothing special. Cheapest place to stay in a place with limited accommodations and services. Off season restuarants, bars close by sundown, as does shop so eat early or bring food. Good place for someone walking the coast. The town beach wasn't one i would make a destination. Overall a private room w bath at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly

Pillows super uncomfortable

Nice host. Affordable spot. Was able to use their fridge. We were there in the off season, so it's hard to properly evaluate.

Cold - which I'm sure is not a problem in the on season. They did provide a space heater. No towels.

Location is excellent - very close to the beach and the small town of Calnegre which has a couple of restaurants / bars.

I visited in March and the weather wasn't great -guess it would be totally different with nice weather. The hostal had no heating -so not sure if is suitable for Winter stops -no towels were provided in the room . I have been travelling in Spain for 10 weeks staying in a lot of various accommodations and this hostal is over priced for what you get.
