This hotel is lovely. It is very modern and has pools, a gym, a bar, a restaurant, a play area, a tennis court and a car park. The room was big, clean, and modern. The beds were comfortable. The room had air conditioning, even in May. The balcony was a good size with 2 chairs, a small table and a dryer. The room had thick black out blinds. The shower was large - the water was always hot and had good pressure. The room has a hairdryer, safe and small fridge. Our room had a pool view, which also gave you a view of the sea. The corridors and public areas with immaculate. We stayed half board. The food was very good. Breakfast included fruits, yoghurts, juices, cereal, cheeses, meats, toast, bread and hot food such as sausages, bacon, eggs, beans etc. Much of the hot food is cooked to order so you see it being made. Dinners included salads, meats, soup, vegetables, pastas etc, again much of it cooked to demand. The pool area was lovely. We were there is May so the water was cold, but there were a few people in the pool. There is a shallow kids pool with water sprays and a slide, and a larger pool with small waterfall. There were lots of loungers around the pool. However, not sure if there would be enough at peak season, albeit they may bring out more. There are 4 '4 poster bed' loungers at the pool area. These cost 25 Euros per day to rent. You can get into your room at 2pm, and need to be out by 11am. I asked to keep the room later and was told I could keep the room until 3pm for an additional 30 Euros. The hotel is very close to the beach - you cross the road and walk down a short road and you are there. The beach is lovely - it has lovely soft sand, and is shallow for ages, so good for those who want to paddle. There is a restuarant on the beach, which was fine for drinks but VERY expensive - 14 Euros for a burger. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Port Mazarron. This is a nice place, with a marina, shops, restaurants and a beach.

The choice of cooked food at dinner was quite limited. However, I think this was due to my being there in May - the hotel was quiet so it makes sense not to make too much food. The food which was available was very good. The bar area is very clinical - it has very bright lights. It isn't somewhere you want want to spend the evening relaxing. It is more like a cafe. It would have been so much nicer if the lights were off (except around the bar) and replaced with softer lamp style lighting. Did have a pool table which was good, albeit the position wasn't ideal in terms of space to hold the cue.

DISCLAIMER - We visited this hotel off-season in the beginning of May. There were almost no other guests. Review is based on this experience. During our stay, it was absolutely silent, calm and relaxing. Would recommend this kind of stay to everybody. We are giving it a full 10/10. The hotel is brand new, and it has a stunning view over the sea and mountains on the horizon. Fully recommend it to anybody who wants to have a great time in this small town. A/C works perfectly well, everything is clean and still brand new, so it was nice to use it. Big parking space. A nice pool on premises, but honestly, the beach is 50m away from the hotel gates. Some restaurants and other services in the area. 1.5km from the real centre of the city where most of the restaurants are located. Close to the Mirador Cabezo del Gavilán viewing platform, from where there is a just stunning view over the city and mountains in the distance. Amazing spot. Really good and rich breakfast. Good pastries, fresh pancakes. Low prices in the cafe/bar on premises, where you can get snacks and sandwiches. It was open until 23 when we were visiting.

We loved everything.

Hotel room and facilities clean. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel bar is very nice with music DJ and a great atmosphere. Swimming pool is nice and clean, a lot of sunbeds available. Hotel opposite a great little cove ideal for swimming and relaxing. A couple of restaurants in front on the beach are also available across the road.

Hotel location is a bit far from old town facilities and new marina, a good 25 mins walk, but taxis are available. The evening buffet was disappointing with poor variety and the food was Luke warm.

Bedroom lovely and shower. Plenty of sun beds for everyone. Some staff excellent especially man at reception doing check in and entertainment guy tall one especially great. Water polo good fun. Plenty of food Choices. No cider or coors light beer and only a couple of cocktails. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and back in September for five nights. Hotel is modern and kept immaculate

Parasols need to be put down if very windy as they blow away.

Excellent service in restaurant. Never a problem with sun beds even tho the hotel was full. Staff all well trained and SMILING! Overall fab value. Possible improvements - patio doors very heavy to move. Shower excellent but seal not the best (but minor issue).

The sun was off the balcony about 2.30 but lots of space/ chairs/ sun beds available in the sun.

The location was great and the view from the room was spectacular. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible with so much choice. Spotlessly clean and very comfy beds.

Paying extra for tea and coffee making facilities in the room and chose to park on the street as hotel car park was an extra €10 a day. Most of the balconies do not get any afternoon sun which was a shame given the view.

The room and beds were comfortable. The pool area was exceptional. It was good to see how the hotel catered for a group of disabled youngsters.

The only negative point was the food. The only choice was a buffet where the food was mediocre. It is a 4 star hotel without an a la carte restaurant. It was like a Butlins experiences

Breakfast was very good,great selection,bar was not good lights too bright looks more like a coffee shop very sterile.

Nothing every thing was good except the bar and I think the hotel is more suited to families with young children not a retired couple like us.

We loved the size of the room, and the view too. The bed was confortable and the size of the room was awesome. They have a great place for parking and it only cost us 5 euros a day. The location of the hotel is great 100 meters from the beach. The breakfast was good and the building is pretty new and well maintained. All in all we liked it a lot and would recommend it. We were there during winter time so take that into consideration, low season.

I don't think there were anything at all we didn't like.

Great modern hotel close to an amazing beach, swimming pools, parking and good breakfast!

Unfortunately no hot water in the room, staff explained a few hotels in the area also had a problem. I expected something off the bill, free drinks or similar. I was only there for a night so didn’t affect us too much.
