Fabulous location, ideally placed for access to the Port and the Centre of Town (plus all of the historical sites). Friendly and helpful staff (great restaurant recommendations), a really nicely appointed room with lovely fixtures and fittings, a good breakfast included and a small bar, although you're surrounded by myriad bars and cocktail lounges. A wonderful underground car park, which was a Godsend since we're driving on this trip. Such luxury to be able to park directly under the hotel! A superb experience, we'll definitely be back!

Nothing I can think of, a lovely experience throughout our stay in the City.

Set in a really good part of town, an easy stroll to the main shopping and eating areas. An excellent feel to the hotel. Room was well looked after, although the step up to the balcony was a bit high if you are of reduced mobility (a small step available in the room would fix this). The restaurant and bar were a good standard, although we mostly ate out and were spoiled for choice in the nearby streets.

Car parking is not for the faint-hearted; the lift down is just wide enough for the car, but watch your wing mirrors. The car park itself is small, and a good test of your driving skills. A typical city-centre underground car park.

Amazing hotel. The location was very good, we had a room with a port view, which was also spectacular. The staff is english-speaking and friendly. Standard room was spacious enough, well-furnished and packed with everything you might need during the stay. Breakfast was excellent as well, with good variety of really delicious choices. Definitely would choose it again.

Although staff was really friendly and helpful, I was indirectly and absolutely unreasonably accused of smoking in the room, which had nothing to do with reality. Closest beach is about 2km away. Parking (19 EUR per night) could have been a bit cheaper.

Location was perfect, right in the historic old town with everything within walking distance. Shops, bars and restaurants in abundance with lots of variety. Close to the port and museums. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

The hotel was lovely on the outside. However, the room was disappointing, quite basic. Free water the first night but not on the second. Paper cups provided to make tea or coffee but only 2 sachets of milk. One spoon left behind that was dirty and was still there on the 2nd day after cleaning. Would have expected proper cups and saucers, especially in a 4 star hotel. Didn't try the breakfast as I thought too expensive, ate at local spanish bar across the street and was excellent value for money and great tostada.Parking also expensive.

The hotel was in a great location near the port, naval museum and at the bottom of Calle Mayor. The staff were encountered were excellent and helpful. We didn’t have any issues with our room or facilities. All the public areas and our room were scrupulously clean and the bathroom had a lovely range of toiletries plus a great hairdryer and an iron. The mini bar was also stocked. We paid for breakfast in the hotel one day and it was one of the best we have had. Lots of selection of hot and cold, fruits, yoghurts, at least four types of milk, different coffees and lots of teas too. The garage was accessed by a lift and was totally secure.

You could not find a better location. Central to all the important sites, restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet selection and I have rarely seen such a varied choice of milks and juice options.

We had hoped to have parking at the hotel but it was already full. However the public parking option (with hotel discount) was extremely close by and not problematic. Although there was a bar counter in the dining room it would have been nice to have had a proper bar room with lounge chairs, lounge music etc

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location in the city with shops and history in one direction and the harbour with all its bustle and activity in the other made walking anywhere very easy. We particularly liked the little extras the staff did. Eg, the first evening room service knocked on our door with a little tray of welcome cakes. My husband's birthday fell during our stay and the receptionist not only recommended an excellent restaurant for a special meal, but booked us a table and informed the staff at the restaurant of the special occasion and they arranged a little celebration. Later back at the hotel, we got another cake delivered to the room. We also liked the lady who came every evening to turn down the ved and leave chocolates which pleased my husband no end!

The entrance to the hotel car park was so narrow, only the tijiest car ir motorbike could actually get in. The hotel had an arrangement with a public car park down the road at discount but it would have been nice to park closer.

Superb location right in the centre of town and the port. We used the underground parking which was payable (€19 a a day) and was great as it meant we could use the lift direct to our floor- a car lift is always an experience too! We had a room facing the port on the 6th floor which was lovely. Well equipped bathroom with a shower over the bath and all the amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. There was a Nespresso coffee maker in the room with 2 pods. Excellent breakfast with a wide range of options.

Be aware that the rooms below us on the 5th floor had a terrace where people could sit and smoke and this meant that we couldn’t open our windows without filling our room with smoke.

Great location within walking distance to all the major city sights. Staff were really helpful. Rooms were a nice size and comfortable beds. Each room has an iron and ironing board. It's really good that you can actually open a window rather than use an aircon. Thank you Angel for all your help. Taxis are easy to find. Cala Cortina is 40 min walk or 10 mins in a taxi ..it is a soft pebble strip. It is 2 small alcoves and gets very busy as it's so small. You need to take everything with you as there is no shop there .

No gym No pool

The staff concern for us was paramount. I got sick with a 24 hour bug. My wife talked to the manager about getting a doctor to see me. In less than an hour, a medical emergency team with a doctor, nurse, and paramedic shows up to evaluate and treat me. I got a shot and prescriptions, at no cost for the care. High marks for the staff. I was a little miffed that I could not reserve parking ahead of time, but the garage entrance was so narrow, that I was pleased to use the public parking a few minutes away. The room was fine, with a small view of the water. Great location and easy to find.

The onsite breakfast was expensive, 17e each, so we did not partake, which as just as well because of my illness.
