Fabulous apartment (we chose the deluxe with hot tub). We hadn’t realised that we also had a jacuzzi bath, plus shower - and a separate shower room. The outside hot tub was pure luxury. The apartment was super well equipped with plenty of towels and bath robes. Breakfast at the Safari restaurant was outstanding (we stay away a lot in Spain and this was one of our tops). A choice of cooked breakfasts (full English, smashed avocado with poached eggs, and salmon with scrambled eggs). An extensive buffet of cold meats, cheese, salad, bread, fruits and yoghurt etc Despite it being the week before Christmas, we enjoyed a dip in the outdoor heated swimming pool and sat in the sunshine taking in the beautiful gardens and surrounds.

We were only there for two nights and our stay was perfect as there is a bar and restaurant on site. However, if you were staying longer, it is too far to walk to local towns and restaurants. I’m sure you can take taxi’s backwards and forwards - but whilst the complex is self contained, we would generally prefer to stay somewhere where we can walk to and experience local bars and restaurants.

Apartment is quite nice. Cormfy bed and nice siza.

No privacy on your jacuzzi area, no separation between neighbours on outside area. We could see both our neighbours beside us.. also no roof over the jacuzzi so higher floor rooms have direct sight to your jacuzzi.

Liked the location as it was close to beach and wanted a resort feel.. had nice pool.. apartment has kitchen with everything needed except condiments.. Great for parking too if have a car. Has a few restaurants and bar/lounge and small market.. Overall decent.

For the price paid should include breakfast.. beds were a bit uncomfortable.. poor lighting in bedroom (dark closet too with no light-I couldn't see a thing).. furniture a bit dated but still okay.. Not like a hotel- stayed 5 days and there's no service except garbage pickup once.. poor on giving out shampoo/vanity set and pool towels (1 each person and cannot change them)!

Facilities are really good. The heated pool was really nice. The apartment was great. Well-maintained, lots of greenery, good ambience, family friendly. No strict rules in the pool. Everyone having a good time and encouraging fun. The showers were good, there was a jacuzzi tub that was great, and the hot tub was also good. Staff was available to clean up the hot tub. Pool timings are from 9am to 6pm. The main pool is heated, the other two pools can be cold depending on the weather. The bedrooms have electric blackout shutters, so can make them dark for night. The heating and cooling systems are good.

Minor things to know: The grocery shop closes quite early at 5pm and has a small selection of items. The TVs are not smart ones.

The kids club staff were great. Made our holiday so enjoyable. The location was great for quick trips into La Cala De Mijas.

Customer service has gone downhill since previous years. They now charge for extra pool towels so you need to keep the ones you get and re use or get charged (we stayed for 19 nights). Linen change and apartment cleaning is too spaced this could be improved and events that used to have no cost are now being charged for such as the flamenco night. My wife got some form of food poisoning after our 2nd night and my daughter caught impetigo so missed a lot of pool time towards the end of our holiday. Also santa cruz pool seemed to have a yellow dye in the water which stained all our swimwear that then had to be discarded.

This was our second year staying at Wyndham, in the Premium Plus Two Bedroom suite with Hot Tub. As a family of 5, it accommodated us well, 2 x daughters in the second room and son in the sofa bed in living room. We arrived late at night but had already pre-ordered the grocery pack, meaning some basic food and drinks were in the room on our arrival, which helped. (Especially the cold beers!!) Room was very clean, as is the whole complex. Last year we booked the apartment with sea view and I missed not having that view from our apartment this year, just booked too last minute unfortunately. We had a slight issues with friendly ants loving the second bedroom. The staff were quick to rectify and got us moved to another similar apartment so they could sort it and allow us to enjoy the rest of our holiday. We ate every other night in the Safari restaurant, I genuinely believe the food has improved further. Some of our favourite meals were in Safari. The staff work their socks off in there and can never do enough, ensuring each dining experience is enjoyable. I enjoyed the vast nature of this complex, so much to do, plenty to explore, lovely beachside restaurants a short walk away. Villatropicana Beach being one! Regular buses into Fuengirola and La Cala. Endless options if you want to travel further and next year we hope to include Gibraltar. Another few things of note: Cocktails are great at Cascade Poolside Bar and Safari. Entertainment is decent in the Gin Bar and their theme nights are recommended (Mexicano or Flamingo) - 10/10 for value, effort and enthusiasm. Taxis are a bit strange this year - not sure what issues ongoing with Bolt but I switched about quite a bit between Bolt, Uber and Local Mijas taxis. Hit and miss to be honest, prices never the same. Guest services are great, always there to help. Local shop at guest services isn't cheap but their freshly baked bread is delicious. We just went to Miramar on 1st day to stock up, which served us well.

Cocktails in the Gin Bar later in the evening were not on same par as Safari and Cascade. (For context this was a few times, so we just stopped ordering cocktails and stuck to other drinks) Small criticism and cant fault their measures which are more than generous. Also appreciate the staff are pretty busy, especially with happy hour on. Would like more offers for returning customers.

Lovely resort style accommodation, very clean and comfortable

Check in was at 4pm and check out at 10am with a knock on the door from cleaning staff at 10am on the dot. If check in is so late check out should not be so early, its 6 hours difference and means on the day you get there you lose most of the day and the day you leave its an early start to be out on time.

We had room with hot tub outdoors, it was really nice as the weather wasn’t the best during our stay. There was one heated pool (approx +25c water) in the premises too. The view to the sea was also nice. Kitchen had all the necessary, and our room included also bathrobes.

We were missing toilet paper and the man in the reception said we should go and buy it more ourselves :( we had paid over 100eur per night, toilet paper should be always available :( The bed in master bedroom wasn’t that good, i preferred sleeping in the sofa-bed :/

We stayed in April for 5 days. The 2 bedroom apartment is incredibly large - exceeded expectations! The facilities in the room are also very good. Our apartment was next to the pool & safari restaurant for breakfast & dinner so that was very convenient. The resort & restaurant staff were very efficient and welcoming. Food served in the restaurant is to a very good standard. The resort is approximately slightly outside of any towns so you need a car or to use taxis which we liked as we did not want to be inside any busy towns. The resort is however only a short taxi journey to main areas such as mijas pueblo, fuengirola, Cala de Mijas - all within or under 15 mins by car.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. It really is a beautiful resort. But if you like to style your hair I would recommend taking a hairdryer as ‘the built’ hairdryers in bathroom are not very efficient or hot. This wasn’t a big issue for us but for some this may be a consideration!
