Hotel El Faro Marbella does exactly what it says on the tin, it’s centrally located and extremely close to the beach and old town. Rooms are big, clean, and the beds are comfortable. Air-con working and lots of hot water. Staff friendly and efficient. Good value, especially in Marbella!

Some aspects of the interior are a little tired. Could be noisy at times, but I still slept well.

Excellent location. It was near and walking distance to everything :) Hotel has a parking garage with 8 places, but it was quite small, so if you don't have a small car, check first. Pool area was OK.

We had a room on street side, which was quite noisy, with traffic and a few pubs/restaurants. Pool side is probably less noisy in night. Not enough stuff in kitchen. Needs cutting board, dish brush, washing-up liquid. No gear to make you own coffee, unless waterboiler and nescafe is enough for you. No toilet brush in bathroom. All "views" mentioned in room descriptions are a bit misleading. In total, all "views" exists at hotel, but some rooms seems too have too many "views" listed.

Close proximity to the beach, old town, restaurants and bars. Early check in and an upgrade. The breakfast was OK- the usual suspects, fruit, cheeses, meat and pastries., also bacon and eggs. The time for breakfast was good - 8am - 10:30am. There is a pool but I didn't use it, as the beach was so close. Pressure was good in the shower and there is a big TV with lots of channels

For me, the pillows were a little hard. Our room overlooked the road, so it could get a little noisy but that is nothing to do with the hotel

We were happy with the bedroom, the equipment was new and modern, huge smart TV, enough storage, A/C working perfectly…

The dishes in the kitchenette were not cleaned properly and were very sticky and there was no dish soap/sponge to wash it with. Also the shower curtain wasn’t long enough so the bathroom was always flooded with water after we showered. The kitchen and bathroom were not as new and modern as the bedroom

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are attentive and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable mattresses that guarantee a great night’s sleep. Housekeeping does an excellent job keeping everything fresh and tidy every day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service! Location is near to the beach , shops and old town!

We paid under 70€ for one night at this aparthotel, so we weren't expecting too much. It utterly exceeded our expectations. We had a comfy queen size bed (rare in Spain, in our experience), a large room, with a small kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge etc. It was super quiet - no squeaky floorboards, no banging doors or lifts. The location was great for us with a little Italian wine bar two doors down, and a little Thai Kitchen just across the road ( we didn't try that this time, but will next time!) we were also right in the middle of lots of bars and restaurants, which were very easily walkable. We will be back!

Teeny negative was the shower wasn't very powerful, but still perfectly fine. Parking with a big car was tricky, but now we understand how to use the app to pay, so will be easier next time.

Great location. Staff excellent. Very large room. Requested duvet in advance and was supplied as requested. Free welcome drinks a nice gesture.

Not one English channel available. Over 50 channels available in all languages except English. All sun loungers need to be replaced as nearly all beds had damaged/ badly worn fabric. Pool area is tired and news upgrade.

The location was perfect near to the beach and shops For breakfast there was a wide variety on the menu catered for everyone the rooms were big the beds comfortable and cleaned every day the staff are very accommodating and friendly

We were there in March the pool and outside area not open but I don’t think any of the hotels open these areas until April/May and the bar in the hotel closed early around 4pm not open until the next day again we were there early in the year

Very well located in the city, close to the beach and center of Marbella. Room and hotel looks exactly like the pictures! Staff was very helpful and kind!

Felt disturbed during the nights, other visitors in rooms next door were loud during night. You hear a lot of noises from outside the building as well as from other guests rooms. Didn’t feel properly clean, there was a bug in the fridge and the air conditioner leaked water. On the other hand, this was maintained almost immediately after reporting to the staff!

The room was a very good size with lots of natural lights from the balcony windows. The location was central and on a nice side road. The back area with the chairs was nice and relaxing.

The bathroom was a little small. The corridors require you to manually press a timed light - would be nicer if this was automatic (i.e. motion sensitive).
