The Hotel had everything you could ask for. Even a Gallery and a Library. Great location and really helpful friendly staff.

We had a balcony which was unusable for two days as there were major demolition works next door and yoiu could not hear each other speaking The Hotel needs to up it's guest experience a little. This was one of 10 hotels that we stayed in during a trip all over the south of Spain. Everyone of them, without exception, provided a complimentary water each day of our Stay. El Fuerte did not. Other Hotels had complimentary bubbles on check in, bottle of fizz complimentary in the rooms, chocolates etc. El Fuerte had none of this. Combine that with this was the most expensive Hotel we stayed in, they have to do better.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel and genuinely loved everything about it! 😀 From the warm welcome at check-in to the moment I left, everything was just perfect. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — so many delicious options, fresh ingredients, and great coffee to start the day right. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had! I also really enjoyed the two pools — both were clean, relaxing, and a great place to unwind. Whether you’re taking a dip or just lounging by the water, it’s the perfect way to enjoy some downtime. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made everything super convenient. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel experience!

- the sofa in my room was old and not comfortable, I informed the receptionist to replace it or something, the lady said she will see and come back to me but she never did. - the breakfast buffet staff were nice to me the first day but the second they treated me like I’m almost invisible ( maybe they wanted me to tip the first day but I went to breakfast without wallet, this is really weird)

The hotel was terrific. You realize you are in a quality hotel when you walk in the door. Our stay was about 4 weeks, we stayed 2 weeks here and 2 weeks in another hotel. The quality was night and day, and they both are rated 5 stars. This was truly a 5-star hotel.

Wish the pool was a little more family-friendly. It was a beautiful pool, but really just for a quick dip and get out.

Breakfast was amazing, rooms were comfortable, and the amenities are top notch. One of my favorite hotels in the world. Location is excellent and after doing a lot of research on hotels in the area, this hotel I can say entirely is the best in the area. The staff is amazing and they will help with anything you need. The pools have great lounge chairs and umbrellas and the food and drinks are amazing. The rooftop was the cherry on top of the sundae. You can't miss a glass of wine and a sunset up there, it will be your favorite part of the trip. Easy access to the boardwalk and the one thing I really liked about the hotel is that it is elevated above the boardwalk so it looks directly out to the ocean with nothing blocking the view. Truly a 5 star property.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a 5-minute walk to the old town. Additionally, there is a laundry service, a barbershop, a supermarket, and a pharmacy within walking distance, so you can easily access all the services you need. The staff were amazing, and the room was clean. The breakfast offered a great selection, with everything you could want. Overall, the hotel excelled in every aspect, and I have no complaints. One standout feature was the automatic blackout curtain, which allowed for complete darkness in the room. The bathroom was equipped with an automatic bidet that could be controlled via a remote, which I found to be very convenient and personally important. Everything was fantastic, and I will definitely return to the same hotel if I visit Marbella again.

I didn't pay for a sea view, so I didn't get one. The partial sea view was quite expensive, and since I wasn't willing to spend that much, I can only say that it was a bit disappointing. However, my view of the hotel entrance wasn't bad at all.

One thing that could be improved is the quality of non-alcoholic drinks at the beach bar, e.g. ice tea looked very different from the picture and tasted like water with syrup (which is a pity given the hotel offers a nice hot tea collection)

The Hotel is superbly located. Just 2 minutes walk to the Beach and 5 mins walk to Marbella Old Town. The Hotel has a beach bar/restaurant so you can choose to sit by the pools or at the beach, the choice is yours. The facilities at the Hotel are top notch, modern and well maintained. The Hotel has gone through a total multi-million refurbishment and it shows. All the staff are friendly, attentive and well trained. A very well-run hotel. I would have no qualms in recommending it.

Nothing. It was that good. The only comment I will make is the clientelle are a slightly older generation but that could be the time we went in mid/late September. I think it is more geared to family/well-healed oldies but that is just an observation NOT a criticism.

Breakfast - What a highlight. Excellent. Queues can be a little long at peak times for freshly cooked eggs but if you go earlier it's not an issue. Beds - So comfortable Decor throughtout was so fresh Bar area is great Staff are freindly and attentive Restaurants and bars are delightful

Noise between rooms is more noticeable than ideal Lack of mirrors in the bedroom was a small gripe - only mirror was in the bathroom so can be a little awkward when getting ready to go out. A greater non-alcoholic drinks menu (including non alcoholic wine/prosecco) would be suggestion.
