The location is superb, the building is beautiful, the hotel is boutique. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was good. I would recommend this place for a couple nights stay. TIP - Enjoy cocktails on the rooftop - it is wonderful.

For a 5 star properly, it needs to have spa facilities otherwise at best that is 4 star (it doesn't matter how beautiful, clean, great service they have, a spa or leisure facilities is how properties receive a 5 star rating). Perhaps in the future they can enhance their offering in this regard, especially for the price you pay (it is a boutique hotel for sure with character). This would definitely make it better value for money, as it is a little pricey.

One of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at. La Fonda exceeded our expectations by far. Location is amazing in the heart of old town, countless bars, cafes, restaurants in literally 1 minute away and at the same time at the quieter square. Breakfast was simply great. All products are organic and top quality. Staff is ideal mixture of attentive and relaxed which we really appreciated. Special thanks to breakfast waiter who did his job incredibly well. We felt like at home away from home. I wish there was La Fonda like hotel in every destination we travel to. Vibe of the hotel and level of attention to detail is amazing. Highly recommend.

Room we booked (superior) is on the smaller side - something to keep in mind. We would appreciate more hangers in the restroom and room itself but that’s only if I’m being picky.

A very good experience. The reception made all our needs. In particular, we still have on our memories Mrs. Maria's professionalism, a smile on her face and a very professional approach to us. Her recommendations for places to rest or restaurants were a 10/10. All staff are very polite and well trained with good manners (Mrs. Marina from breakfast - I wish everyone such good service during breakfast as presented by Mrs. Marina. Our room was nice (we had a double bed but two mattresses, which is a minus for us) decorated in an elegant style fresh and very clean. Equipped with good appliances (e.g. Dyson hair dryer - so we felt at home). A strong 9/10 to start with! I highly, higlyre commend! Really good vibe!

At breakfast you can feel a bit lost. We understand the philosophies of organic food and good product origin. But there is a lot to improve in this. A small amount of butter, changing the place of things from the "buffet" makes us a little bit confused. No bottles of water (you have to ask the waiter and wait a bit). You can compose something from the buffet itself, but it's not easy ;). The second thing - the night cleaning shift. Once at 6 pm, once at 11 pm, once not at all - so we were a bit confused. In general, the hotel is very good, these are nuances that do not interfere with a perfect rest

We loved the property, beautiful… location, location, location was excellent! Service impeccable, food was really good, and the Jane restaurant excellent, with live music- perfect way to end our vacation.

We knew we were getting a small room, however a few hooks to hang towels, redistributed coffee, safe area to allow for proper hanging space would be good. The outdoor patio could use a little greenery .

We loved everything about this hotel. The warm welcome at the reception including a lovely glass of cava, the room was spacious and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. As we were out of season some of the areas were not in use such as the outside patio or rooftop bar but this didn't detract at all from our enjoyment. The hotel is in an excellent location being in the old town with plenty to see and do and across the main road from the beach but still at night was quiet(this may have been due to the time of year however). We had dinner in the restaurant which was superb, the food was delicious and the staff knowledgeable and professional. All in all we had an extremely pleasant stay, would definitely recommend it and will return no doubt.

Only a couple of minor things, the television in the room did not have many useable channels in English or Spanish and the reception was a little poor, surprising considering the wifi was fine. I thought that it would have been useful to have some drawers in the room, rather than leaving all your belongings on show. We did not like the glass wall that divided the bedroom from the bathroom, absolutely no privacy at all! This is a personal choice however, others may disagree. The hotel was generally beautifully decorated and very stylish.

The hotel is new and in a magnificent building and location, the place is unique through design and story.The garden is a gem as the restaurant, but most of all is Maria from reception, a true guide of the place.

The location of the hotel is fabulous. Perfect for wandering the beautiful streets of the old town and a plethora of restaurants nearby.

Sadly there were private functions in both spaces on the Friday night which meant the sky bar was short staffed and a complete mess. We waited 45 mins got no drink so left. When we complained to reception his reaction was a shoulder shrug and an attitude of "well we are short staffed i will tell the manager" We left and went to an alternative outside the hotel. The room was clean and nicely finished but very small with no storage so was pretty cramped. I would also recommend asking for a room not at the front as it's quite noisy into the small hours.
