The location of the hotel is fantastic and as its quite remote, its good to have a restaurant and cafe right there. The room was big and comfortable with nice views from the window. The room has a smart TV and the bathroom came with the essential toiletries. The breakfast was buffet style with hot drinks and orange juice, scrambled and fried eggs, bacon strips and choices of pastries and bread.

Our room was right above the restaurant so during dinner time and breakfast time it was very noisy as we can hear constant chairs and table moving and we could also hear the people in the corridors so its not quite sound proof.

Stunning place in the mountains, gorgeous views. Close to a quaint town Onati. Great hiking, we hiked to the eye of Aitzulo, breathtaking, a must! Room was large, bathroom huge. Very comfortable. It is a sanctuary and the church is beautiful and so different. Great architecture. Food delicious.

The bells ring every 15 minutes but start at 8am and finish at about 9 or 10pm. We were out exploring all day so overnight for sleeping bells are off.

The hilltop location of the hotel provided an awesome view both in the evening sunset and in the morning when the mountain mist was rolling by. The hotel and complex was interesting to walk around and explore. The hotel staff really added to our stay; they were genuinely interested in what our plans were and responded with some really useful information. Access to Bilbao from the hotel was very straightforward.

Our room was simple, but very modern and super-sufficient. The shower and bathroom were spotless and just what we needed after a long journey. In fact, there was nothing that we didn't like so top marks to the hotel !!

The location is quite good for hiking, with several routes taking off from the location of the hotel. The dinner offer is good, with great food and attentive staff. The staff at the reception is equally attentive and friendly.

The rooms do not have air conditioning and at night I had to keep the window open, with the natural trade off that I had to accept some street noise. In the restaurant some aspects on the upkeep of the tables and chairs needs attention.

Expensive supper menu. Food was perfectly good but too expensive. Horrible coffee served at breakfast in their dining room and overall indifferent breakfast. The coisssnt and coffee we had for breakfast in their bar on our second day was much better quality

Our stay at the other hotel was fantastic. The gentleman at the reception was very kind to welcome us even though we arrived later than the check-in time due to a travel delay. The room itself was stunning, with plenty of space, impeccable cleanliness, and a stunning view. The bathroom was also spacious and elegantly designed. Moreover, the hotel's location was perfect for us as it was only a 2-minute walk away from the sanctuary, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience.

The only issue we experienced during our stay at the hotel was the bed structure, which seemed to be a temporary one. It felt a bit out of place in the luxurious environment of the room. However, we were pleased to find that the mattresses themselves were comfortable, so we still managed to get a good night's sleep. Despite this minor setback, we still highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, stunning views, and overall comfort.

Great hotel with beautiful surroundings and awesome hikes just outside the hotel. Very spacious rooms.

We could hear the church bells from the bedroom and people talking outside and across from the other bedrooms but nothing too excessive.

I think my partner and I said "wow" about 1000 times. Staying in this building with these views is crazy. Such a beautiful spot. Hotel was amazing, very cosy and comfortable.

Cannot fault much except we were looking forward to using the sauna, but did not realise this was an additional €25.

Excellent location, great rooms, impeclable mattresses and bed linen, truly a great experience.

There were three restaurant options. Two were high end. The third option was a cafetaria style place, minimalist space. The prices for this cafetaria were very expensive. The same meal in any other place would have cost one third to half of the price.

The location was amazing! Close to alot of starts of different trials. Staff was really helpful. Views were phenomenal. Would stay there again.
