Location is excellent

Parking - not free - is rather inconvenient, being away from the hotel and involving a lot of stairs to get from and back to. Difficult to take bags to it when leaving. It's hard to get to the hotel using Google Maps, which sends you through the narrow streets of the old quarter. Easy access is via Avenida de la Coronación, which becomes Calle Garcia de las Paredes before you turn right into Calle Ballesteros right behind the church. While the hotel receptionist was helpful with the route out of the old quarter, I believe the hotel should routinely advise those coming to the hotel in a car of this (much easier) route to the hotel via the roads cited above. We were not the only guests misled by Google Maps, causing frustration and irritation . . .

It's a lovely hotel with super rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfast. The building itself is quite classy and the view over the town square from our room was a treat, inc. storks nesting on the church tower about 20m away. The town has some really super places to eat.

While I cannot fault the hotel itself it's in a tricky spot to access by car and the parking is hidden away above the hotel in the very old part of town. Driving to and from the parking via very narrow streets is not for the faint hearted.

Room 002 is very spacious,overlooking the square at an angle from the window. Separate shower cubicle inside the bathroom. Loads of room to relax, 2 sofas. Mini fridge. The main square is outside the front door It really is a lovely place, lots of different rooms located in alcoves

Beware of parking and very narrow streets. The hotel needs to guide you to the parking which is above and behind the hotel, it is not covered but secure It is not good for very large cars and nervous drivers. To get from the parking back to the hotel, the hotel needed to show me as you have to go all around town. Complicated but no problem. A bit of fun and a result of being a historic old town. Only downside was the rubbish being collected from right under our window at 05:30 which was pretty noisy!

Location was perfect. Close to all shopping and dining choices, which were plentiful. Breakfast was ample, daily lunch menu was excellent. The dining room was in the center of the building, had tall ceilings and a nice layout. The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed, nice shower and everything we needed for our comfort.

The second morning, due to low occupancy, the breakfast was not served in the dining room. We opted to go to the bar and order food there, which was fine.

Lovely property, maintaining the architecture of the original building whilst converting to the hotel. Staff were wonderful, in particular Juan Jose who went out of his way at every opportunity. The superior room was lovely and spacious

We arrived about 1500hrs and there were no superior rooms remaining with a double bed. Annoying on a weekend away to have single beds. I’ve never stayed in a hotel room Without coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was fine but no restaurant or bar in the evening. The weather was great but the pool area was closed off which was a shame.

Great location, massive Room. Loved Juan, for helping us find our way through the 1 way system to get to the hotel. Alba for letting me charge my phone & Sergio for mopping up my breakfast spill. Good choice of breakfast.

Although a big room, minimal sockets to charge phones. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Beware if arriving on a Sunday the plaza Mayor is closed to traffic. Avenida Coronacian is quite a long way out, almost going out of town. Maybe a map with the instructions would decrease a lot of angst.

Room was quite a lot smaller than photos …just one easy chair squeezed in ..photos show 2 No tea / coffee in room and no bar working in hotel …so hot drink only at breakfast Seemed quite short staff with stressed staff Fittings are adequate but bit tired

The only downside was unavoidable The air conditioning was really struggling to work efficiently due to the intense heat outside Car park is very difficult to get to due to very narrow streets

As soon as we arrived by car a staff member came out to take our bags. We were then directed to the car park which is above the hotel. When we left a staff member took us by lifts and steps to the car park, sat in the car and directed me back to the hotel. We arrived on a Monday so the restaurant was closed that evening. Many of the staff spoke English. Excellent breakfast. New motorway around Caceres, not marked on even recent maps so an up to date GPS will bring you to the door, and navigate you back to the motorway, aboyt 3 kms from the hotel.
