Prince Waikiki is in a prime location. Just minutes from everything. The mall, the beach, to the boats for daily excursions, the ABC Store, restaurants, etc. The staff remembers who you are and who you're with. I would go outside and let the outside staff know to tell my husband where I was waiting for him and vice-versa with me to my husband. I thought that was exceptional. The room was comfortable and held excellent views, (photo attached). The toilet was warm when I sat on it! I hadn't realized it was a bidet! Yup! So enjoy that while you can, LOL! I even looked forward to the elevator ride, which also had a nice view of this mountain. I submitted a picture of the view. The water stations throughout the hotel came in handy. I was so worried on the plane as to how we were going to have water because I drink a lot of it. I was worried I would have to keep buying expensive bottles daily, but nope! Prince Waikiki has water stations throughout, and they even supply you with a complimentary water bottle to keep filling. And do not worry about spending money on shopping bags because they give you that too. So don't forget to grab it on your way out, just like anywhere else, you will have to purchase a bag whether at the mall or store. They take care of you here. I would stay again. We never had to take an uber or lyft. We walked everywhere saving us lots of money .

I did not like the price of the breakfast buffet. $31 is steep. I usually like a cup of coffee with a bagel or English muffin, so to pay that much is terrible. My husband and I found a nice quaint breakfast spot, just minutes away called Sunny's.

Room has everything you need. Location is the best part about the motel. It's a short walk to ABC stores and the major shopping mall. The concierge staff were not very helpful which is a shame because our daughters visited in April, and they raved about them. Obviously too many key staff were on holidays. Overall, we loved our stay here.

Concierge staff did not speak English well which made communication difficult. They were not forthcoming with local intel of the areas of specific perks of the motel.

I loved this hotel and would return there in a heartbeat. It's not in the centre of Waikiki, so you have to factor in the cost of buses to and from Waikiki. Havubg said that, it is a walk away from Ala Moana shopping centre with its handy food court and lovely shops. The Prince is in its own little marina area which is stunning to look at, is quieter than central Waikiki with lots of comforts around it. Our room was spacious for 2 x adults and 2 x teenagers. We'd return again in a heartbeat!

Hotel lobby was beautiful. Location was ideal for those seeking to stay away from the hectic Waikiki area. Café in the lobby was extremely handy for breakfasts and morning coffees. The room was clean and comfortable.

While I had no concerns with the cleanliness of the room. Some elements like the floorboards and headboards showed significant wear.

The location of the hotel is great, on the edge of Waikiki and next to the Ala Moana Center. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport, and also a great base from which to visit the rest of the island. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the views were amazing, given that every room has an ocean view. It is a bit of a walk to the majority of sights in Waikiki, and to the beach, but we knew that when we booked and was exactly what we were looking for.

Self-parking was a bit tight, and at times, it was hard finding a spot. We always did, and the hotel said that if we ever had a problem, they would valet for the self-park rate.

The hotel is very close to Ala Moana Center, but it's about a 30-minute walk to Waikiki Beach. If you enjoy staying in a quieter area, this hotel is a great choice. However, if you’re looking for convenience and easy access to shops and restaurants, staying closer to downtown Waikiki might be a better option. Prince Waikiki is extremely clean and the service is excellent. Knowing that this year is our 20th wedding anniversary, the hotel even surprised us with a bottle of sweet white wine in our room — it made us really happy.

Loved the location. It was out of the congestion of Waikiki and yet very walkable to anything. The room was very pretty and had all that we needed. We upgraded to the "Club Level" and thought that the extra money was well spent for the amenities. Magic Island is next door. I wish we had been able to spend more time there. The hotel is beautiful.

The pool area was quite crowded (the other pool was closed) and there was little shade. While the marina gives an interesting view, it is not a beach view. There was a mistake made our first night. We were awakened 2 hours after we had gone to bed by someone in uniform trying to enter our room - two different times! I'm sure that the staff was mortified, but it was still very disconcerting and bothersome.

The Prince Waikiki is a large modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The sea views were fantastic. It overlooks the marina (and then out to sea) rather than the beach, so if you wish to walk straight out onto the beach then it wouldn't be the choice for you. But if you enjoy a quieter vibe with an interesting view across the marina, and out to the windsurfers and surfers on the break beyond, then it will suit you well. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away along an attractive boardwalk.

Breakfast was each and every day the same, no changes, new dishes at all, it became flat after 1 week time

We were on a high floor (28) so no street noise and AC was effective so we didn't open windows. View to Harbour and North was great. Elevators were fast and not much waiting. Pool and gym on 5th floor excellent. Pool had a bar with attentive staff. Gym had excellent selection of weight machines and free weights similar to a health club level. We purchased a breakfast package and enjoyed breakfast buffet and freshly made omelettes. The had nice asian options (miso soup, steamed rice with pickles, etc) and western fare.

One thing that was noted in comparison with other hotels in area is that this hotel has immediate access to harbour (Gilligan's Island fans will appreciate that its the Harbour from which the famous 3 hr tour leaves), but getting to a public beach is a 15-20 min walk. Some hotels have more immediate access to beach. So this could be a choice, but was fine for us so I would not say this was a significant issues for us.
