It has been an immensely pleasurable experience here at the island. After watching and reading reviews, my partner and I decided to stay at JA Manafaru. I have to say, it did not disappoint. The views, the beach, the food everything has been so enjoyable and surreal. The staff here are very hospitable and friendly. We completed a range of excursions and tried every restaurant as well as engaging in treatments at the spa. Every single staff member we interacted with throughout displayed nothing but kindness, openness and helpfulness. Not to mention, the room service was impeccable. We would like to give an honourable mention to Sabaah - our point of call - who never failed to deliver regardless of what time in the day it was. He ensured we were taken care of throughout our time on the island even if it meant going out of his way. My wife dropped her sunglasses in the sea on the way back to the villa and Sabaah managed to retrieve them for her! We would 100% recommend this island and the staff definitely do make the experience even more worthwhile.

Beach villa setup is great with a white sandy private beach makes it a special amenity that I liked the most in the hotel. The beach villa has very nice sandy beach with no rocks. The setting of the different restaurants , white orchid , veil bar , ocean grill and andiamo gives I multiple options that doesn’t get you bored. The sea food bbq and Maldivian dinners were outstanding and had plenty of options and portions . Staff was very friendly

Nothing much

The place is just amazing and the people that work there are really nice and friendly. The food is great and there are a lot of good wines already including in the all inclusive package (what I do recommend) The water villas are really close to reefs and you can see a variety of fishs just a few meters from your room. Besides that, they are really clean and confortable. I also recommend some paid tours they offer because you can go to desert islands and enjoy a little bit more maldives. The sea over there is gorgeous. Another great point is that they assign a person to take care of you during your stay, and this person books dinner, events and tours for you, so you don't need to worry with nothing!

I just loved everything

Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. They make you feel very welcome. They have though about everything when it comes to service. Perfect location. Very calm resorts. Big and beutiful villas. The food was amazing.

They greet you as soon as you land at the airport and then take you to the lobby, where you can relax and eat. Afterward, you'll be transported by seaplane to the hotel, where a wonderful team greets you. Takhuru accompanies you to your room and always offers luggage storage. The food is delicious, mostly seafood. You can sample different international cuisines each day. My vacation ended, and they dropped me off at the airport by seaplane. Even after my hotel stay ended, they continued to welcome me in the lobby and even escorted me to the airline to deliver my luggage. It was an incredible experience. Thank you everyone.

Because it was low season, the infinity pool was closed. This was disappointing. Water sports can sometimes be canceled due to bad weather. Meal orders may arrive a little faster. Also I think the restaurant manager is a bit egoistic.

Beautiful island, lush vegetation, nice beach without sand bags (just like in the picture you see on the hotel website). Friendly staff all over the island. I would like to mention our thakuru (Abdo - he was very efficient and helpful) and Kitty from dive centre. We tried all restaurants and food was very tasty and fresh.

Been there for our Honeymoon in November 2024 - best Hotel/Resort we have ever stayed. Our Sunset Overwater Villa with Pool was amazing, it had picturesque views over the ocean. We‘ve spotted dolphins swimming by right from our sunbeds. The house reef is fantastic, lots of opportunities for water sports or you can just relax by the pools and enjoy a massage. The food was delicious across all 4 restaurants. The staff is super friendly and makes you have just a perfect stay. Will definitely come back to celebrate our anniversary! Best wishes from Vienna

Perfect paradise! beautiful nature, very nice landscape design that blends great with nature, spacious villas so you can enjoy private time, all facilities are well kept, options for excursions, perfect service and excellent food. I loved the concept of the personal host they offer all guests - during all the stay we had a personal experience host that made everything easy - thank you Mangal for being such a great host.

commute there is long. that’s the trade off for being isolated and so quiet there. one way we took the seaplane which was an exciting experience by itself.

To get to the island takes a bit longer than average but it is worth it as the island is natural and has beautiful vegetation and old banyan trees. The rooms are spacious with a comfy bed, have a separate bathroom and living area and a beautiful sundeck with lounger and a pool. You have complete privacy in your room area. The breakfast has a lot of options from continental, Mediterranean and Maldivian breakfast. In Kakuni you can eat all day round, so you decide yourself when you want to have lunch or dinner. In Andiamo you can go for Italian food. We liked it all. The quality is good and the portions are big enough. The staff is fantastic. The gym is well modern equipped and has the best views i have seen in my life from a gym.
