Central does mean 'central' if you want a five minute walk to see the fortresses or the border crossing....or even Lidl! Staff were excellent and sorted out my mistake in booking the wrong day despite not speaking English by phoning someone who did. Room was clean and comfy and great value as I don't need bells and whistles. You choose your one hot breakfast dish the night before.... omelettes are different from the UK but tasty.

For the very modest price it would be churlish to even attempt to find fault.....I enjoyed my stay.

I liked the old building and beautiful looking lobby. I liked the room and location: walking distance from the Narva Castle. Breakfast was good.

Only problem was that the weekend street noise (people walking home from restaurants and bars late night or early am hours) echoes up to the 3rd floor. We had to keep the windows open for the cooler air. Front desk agent couldn't speak English, nor Estonian - only Russian. But she was very friendly and helpful despite the language problem.

Nearly everything. Is a good clean hotel, rooms with sauna is great. Very central and a nice building. Good breakfast too

Personally I haven't disliked anything. The only thing guests should probably know there are no lifts to second and third floor. So if anyone has issues with climbing the stairs, should explicitly reserve the ground floor rooms.

The bed was surprisingly perfect for me, I slept very well, and I think it is very good hotel for its price! Nice and simple place to spend night. If you travel to Russia - the good part is that it’s 5 min walk to Russian-Estonian border. The staff was also nice there.

Very nice and cute hotel. It was clean and nice with spaces to relax. Breakfast was good and the staff was kind. Clean and fast Wi-Fi.

You have what you pay for- nothing extra just what you may need for short stay

The hotel and ambient fits well to record movies of 2000s, old fashioned, old furniture, sheets are clean but with stains. But these days the hotel with a parking and receptionist would cost more. I recommend for budget short stays. There is ongoing nightlife:) with closed police station, strip club and interesting Gulliver-Two sisters restaurant. Something to remember, again almost back to 2000s and crime movies. Otherwise, the staff is pleasant and breakfast for 6 euro is something to remember too.

The hotel is very old and dated which we expected from the pictures. However things were well maintained and most importantly, it was very clean and comfortable, which actually made the stay quite enjoyable. We were able to enjoy the TV and the fast wifi as well. Basic soap and shampoo was provided.

The price can be cheaper given it is comparable to some places in Tallinn. It really should not be priced so high but we did not have a bad stay at all. We asked for a wine opener and they only had screw top wines in the entire hotel and therefore was not able to provide one.

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite, friendly and helpful, giving us directions and recommendations on where to go. The location is pretty much perfect, because the Fama shopping center is only a few minutes walk away and the castle and promenade are 5-10 minutes away. It was very quiet at night so nothing disturbed our sleep. The parking lot might be small, but your car will be very safe there because they lock the gates for the night. All the facilities were very clean and tidy and the bed was very nice and soft.

The view was not the greatest, due to the large hotel on one side and the old factory building on the other side of the street, but there is not much the hotel can do about it. Other than that, our stay was very nice and you get a lot more than you pay for.

Wifi very weak, staff didn’t really speak any English, breakfast order (omelet or pancakes) is heated in the microwave.

Room size good. Hot water and shower good.. Reception staff gave good advice..

Breakfast, at extra cost, was not so good. Items were not replaced as they were used. The quality of food iwas poor..Not good value for money.. Bath/shower was difficult to use.
