Incredible place to stay! Arrived by boat and immediately loved that this resort appears to be located on one of the best beaches we had seen so far - calm, clear blue cove tucked between 2 reefs full of life and fishes to explore. The accommodation is beautiful - clean airy rooms with outdoor shower and front porch and hammock. Some look out directly on the beach which looked incredible, however our garden villa still had a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding garden and was less than a few minutes walk to the beach. The food here is incredible - every meal was beyond amazing and the service was incredible. Lots of great activities (snorkeling, diving, fishing, cooking classes, kids centre) but also a great place to just relax. By far the best was all the people we met that treated us like family. They even surprised us with birthday decorations, song and dessert for my sister and I’s birthday. Thank you again Josh, Joe, Mel, Brittany and all the other amazing people we met!

Loved it all :)

Great location with an amazing ~300m snorkel course just off the property. It is really amazing and I enjoyed doing this everyday during my stay. They also offer some unique tours, you can do the cave tour for FJ79 which is great value. All other tours are cheaper or free. No issues with the shared bathroom it is kept very clean and similar to a nice campground, etc. Food was fantastic and as others have mentioned the meal plan is FJ179/day. A takeaway lunch for the ferry is also FJ15. Cocktails are FJ23 and beer is FJ9. FJ2 off both during happy hour.

Very few constructive for this property as I left 10/10 review. Not related to them but I recommend booking the Yasawa flyer for both the outbound and return journey. Don’t take the sea bus.

Music, excellent food, friendly staff

This was a once in a lifetime holiday for our family and we paid a lot of money for the resort stay but we were extremely saddened to learn staff wages are $5 per hour. If we are paying $80 for a massage and staff only get $5 if this we feel this is extremely unfair and unethical. I was very disappointed to learn the resort was owned by NZ expats and coming from the same country where equality and social justice are part of our national ethos, quite frankly I was ashamed.

The location is far up the Yasawas but the snorkeling was excellent, beach access was great, food was exceptional, staff were super friendly and accommodating, and everything was well planned and managed.

We didn't appreciate the hidden mandatory meal plan prior to booking. If it's mandatory then it should have been included in the room rate or at the very least in the fine print. I am on an intermittent fast so I have only 2 meals per day, and when asking to pay for 2 meals, they refused. So I was forced to play for 3 meals. The food was exceptionally good but it would be better to allow guests to book b&b or half board or full board based on their preferences, than insist on a hidden mandatory payment after check-in. So the costs add up after booking, coz there's another 200Usd payment for the boat transfer to the island from Nadi.

Good food quality for the most part and shared bathrooms were pretty clean. The live singer every evening at sunset was great. Beach was clean and lively.

Soundproofing of the bure was very poor- was woken by people outside every morning early, my double bed was 2 singles pushed together and it was very uncomfortable as there was a large gap and height difference. Scuba diving was more expensive than at other resorts. The checkout process was a bit confusing/stressful and wasn’t happy that the final lunch was an extra cost despite paying for the meal plan. The staff at the restaurant often acted like it was an inconvenience to serve you which wasn’t great.

Blue lagoon really was like a paradise home away from home!! We had a fantastic stay in the two bedroom beach front villa, it was clean, spacious and the view was insane!! We went on a cave trip and visited the local village which were both amazing experiences and the guides were awesome! The food was delicious and more than worth the meal plan we paid for and the massage was fantastic too! What really made our stay so special were the staff, special shoutout to Mel for bringing such happy positive vibes every single day and making our stay so memorable! Another special mention to Mari our fijian mum who served us every day with a warm loving smile and Paul for serving us an unlimited amount of Kava! We couldn't have asked for a better holiday, Vinaka!!

A Slice of Paradise at Blue Lagoon Resort You can't go wrong staying at Blue Lagoon Resort in Fiji. An unforgettable experience from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles, great singing and exceptional hospitality. It's a comfortable place to bring a families of all ages. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a blend of modern amenities and traditional Fijian touches. The beachside bungalow was an extraordinary experience, offering stunning views and direct access to the beach. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The resort is perfectly situated on a pristine beach with crystal-clear waters. Snorkeling straight onto the reef is an extraordinary experience, with vibrant marine life just a few steps from our bungalow. Tropical underwater paradise was accessible for even my parents in their 70s. The staff at Blue Lagoon Resort went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Cesare, the manager, going out of his way to be two steps ahead of weather and tricky connections, and helping us out with a medical emergency. Tiki was also an absolute legend — should be a TV Host, big character, all-around lovely guy, and a great quizmaster too. His activities were a giggle. In the restaurant, the menu is diverse and the portions overly generous. Ana, Mel, Naomi, and Ema looked after us so well in the restaurant. Tam and Bill on the boats and at the dive shack were great guys and very informative. My family really really felt the love. The pool was nice for a dip, and the beaches and local walks were epic and achievable.

No complaints.
