The property over all is one of my favourites in the city. It was great that I was able to check in a bit earlier, as I was heading to a family event (the reason for my visit), and thus had time to take a short half an hour break and change of attire in the room after travelling all morning. The breakfast was lovely, and I was happy that my friend could buy the breakfast separately and join me. Otherwise we would not have found the time to meet during my short stay in town. The staff was very kind and professional.

There was a black hair on the bed on arrival. But I get it, sometimes this kind of thing happens. The bed light in the room was a bit too bright for reading before sleeping.

Pleasant comfortable room of a pleasing contemporary design although this was let down by details in its implementation, eg toilet roll holder cannot be reached even by a tall person sitting on the loo, the room door was painted a pale lavender which showed up the hand marks of successive occupants, the bathroom down lighters were positioned so that they left the face in the mirror in shadow, twenty (!) power points in bedroom and bathroom, the plumbing was surface mounted in the bathroom in impressive shiny chrome but the pipe supports were not cleaned and were obviously dirty. The hotel was well suited opposite the cathedral green and our room overlooked this. It was reasonably quiet on a Saturday night even though the city was very busy. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel comprised two adjacent buildings connected by an underground corridor. This was confusing to a new guest arriving in the non-reception block from the car park as signage was not clear to someone unfamiliar with the hotel layout.

Rooms were redesigned and are now smaller from the user perspective. Nightstands are missing in the furniture of the room. Desk for work is too small and more plug sockets are required. Room Ventilation (fresh air) is not sufficient and requires engineering review. I stay 3 nights in the hotel and my room was not cleaned or at least reviewed by cleaning staff.

The location is perfect. The hotel has been renovated recently, rooms are excellent, the elevators brand new. The staff was superb.

The location is central and therefore it’s a bit loud at night at least on a summer weekend. The noise didn’t bother inside though.

Room was great and breakfast exceeded expectations. The hotel is located rigt in the centre of town and you can borrow bicycles for free and go for a bike ride in the town, perhaps try around the lake

Breakfast was nice with plenty of variety. Ran out of the dark coffee too soon. Big room; maybe a little confusing to find the first time. Location is great.

We followed other reviews and didn't get a superior room; that was a mistake. Bathroom very cramped. View looked over the parking lot and that was disappointing. Climate control system has no provision for circulating air. Main restaurant doesn't have much selection for smaller dishes.

Perfect location in between downtown and the city's waterfront. Friendly and helpful staff willing to go the extra mile to make visitors stay feel special.

Breakfast was very good. The location was excellent for me.
