Excellent location - very near to Lake Saima. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good Housekeeping. Public transport is very good - its a short walkable distance to the nearest bus stop. We stayed for 6 nights and it was a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast is European, expectedly. For those travelling from South Asia to Europe for the first time, the breakfast will need some adjusting. As such Indian food choices - in terms of restaurants - are minimal in Lappeenranta. This was our first time to Europe and so, we acquired taste for the breakfast over 6 days. Coffee is hot but milk is cold - so you need to warm the milk in the microwave and then mix it with coffee - if you want to enjoy coffee in the South Asian style.

The room was fully working with details - clean up to all corners of bathroom, efficient use of space with positioning shower, tabs, all. Nice added beauty in wooden details of soap and shampoo bottles. But the spa right next to main building, just at the park to the lake, is wonderful and offers peace and relaxation!!

The day we visited happened to be rainy. Surely I always miss fresh espresso by a real barista.

It was very easy to park in the carpark and our room was on the same level. We liked our little balcony/ conservatory. The breakfast was pretty good including ice cream and staff were super helpful. The lakeside is very nice quite a few restaurants and some live music.

There’s a road between you and the lake and there was a bit of traffic but not super busy.

I knew hotel Lahde from before and I did enjoy it again very much. In short, nice people, nice facility, nice location, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast - and the city of Lappeenranta around - simply very enjoyable overall.

Really notning to complain about, well, perhaps the weather could have been better :-)

Breakfast selection was great. Staff, location, facilities likewise. The lake itself is beautiful with lots of eating, drinking, walking and swimming options right on the doorstep

Sauna opening time was the same as the breakfast window so we didn't manage to use it

My room was very pretty and the bed was good. The lobby and breakfast were on the other side of the street. The breakfast was nice, very good local bread.

The chaging station was a mere 2kW, so a short night was not enough to charge my car overnight.

I've become a regular here because of the comfy rooms, great location and excellent breakfast. Also, having the opportunity for sauna in the morning or evening is great. Last time I was there I was the only one at the ladies' sauna, and it was lovely.

The furnishings are a bit dated, but everything's clean and well maintained.

Wonderful hotel in Lappeenranta. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The beakfast was nice too!

Everything was great. Sadly we did not have time to try the sauna.

The air ducts (ventilation) seem to have to sound traps at all. Woke up at 1:30 AM because guests in the neighboring room were watching TV. The funny thing is that when I went knocking their door, there was not even a hint of TV sound.

Great breakfast! We upgraded the room and it was really nice room with a balcony and a view to the harbour. Day Spa at Boutique Hotel Lähde next door highly recommended!
