It was clean, comfy, with a nice view. We had a kitchen with everything we could posibly need. Kids enjoyed their own room. Sauna in room was nice and clean. Property is silent and private. There was a washing machine and a dryer, which was very nice and helpful for a 3-day family stay. Breakfast was nice with some vegan options as well (plant milk, joghurt, cheese etc)

No air conditioning in rooms. Spa area was cold, some showers were not working and there were too many people. Got a sheet of paper at reception which stated that final cleaning is included in room price, BUT You have to clean your own room and take out the trash bags or You will be charged additional 100eur so our last morning was all about cleaning our room and leaving it spotless. Play tables near the reception area was faulty - You pay 2 euros for 8min game, but the game ends when You achieve 8goals even if it takes only a minute! Tried multiple tables and all had the same problem, kids were very disappointed about this..

The spa facilities were superb, catering for all ages. There are also extensive sports and gym areas, and ten pin bowling. As with most other facilities in Finland, cleanliness/ hygiene was really good A lovely location on the shores of Lake Saima

The bedroom was large, but ‘internal’ with the window looking onto the central atrium, which also meant others could look in if curtains are not drawn. There are only a handful of rooms like this, the rest looking out onto lake or forest. Next time I will INSIST on a room with an outlook. No alternatives offered on Booking.com (bad mistake)

A nice, however a bit outdated hotel near Imatra. The spa area holds most of the hotel's worth, with multiple pools, ranging from a 25m 3-lane pool (that sometimes get crowded with aqua aerobics enthusiasts) to a cold bath pool (+4 C), an outdoor one (open in November), water slide and various sauna and steam bath options. The rooms are ok for a family of 4, as long as you are willing to not have separate spaces. The hotel in itself was mostly visited by pensioners and some families. It holds karaoke nights two days a week with visitors from nearby towns. The breakfast was good and rich, lunch was also ok but on the expensive side (as young kids also pay full price). Unfortunately as opposed the the holiday club nearby, restaurant or bar options are limited. However, the kids and adult play area is far better at Imatran K and Spa, with lots of play options and a good sized infant play area.

The chalets were a bit far away from the spa, restaurants, playground, etc. The options for the breakfast were limited (if not too limited) I was expecting a larger spa with more slides or so. However, the design was very good and relaxing.

The spa area is also a water park albeit in miniature. It was a great stay and i would consider going back just for the water experience. Clean area and nice people and a waterslide so safe that anyone can overcome their fear of waterslides 😀

it was summer and the small bugs that arent quite mosquitos were hungry during our stay. Luckily my family wasnt eaten alive, but i was 😀 So if youre visiting in July, bring some mosquito repellent

We had booked a double room but it had broken curtains. We asked the staff if it could be repaired and they upgraded us into junior suite apartment. This was very nice upgrade and much better with our family than the original room. Our children really enjoyed the spa, it had good and safe pool for small children.

The original double room we had booked was a bit outdated. The junior suite apartment didn’t have air conditioning.

Clean room. Comfortable beds. Funny slide in SPA complex. Good saunas.

Even though, our stay included SPA access - no bathrobes are available for free. An extra payment is 5 euro. Kid`s bathrobes are missing at all. Breakfast is officially open till 11.00 and we came at 10.20, but a lot of food was missing and was not updated.

The hotel restaurant was great, we had the New Year's buffet and we got treatment than in most places when it comes to vegan food. There was some nice nature close to the hotel too.

A bit more information of how to get to the room, where the garbage should be taken etc would have been nice, but all in all everything worked out well. The place was nice, but if one wanted to visit the center you need a car (or a taxi).

I was here many many times and in general this is a great hotel. I'm a bit sad, that not all rooms has tea/coffee in the room, but you anyway will get a nice quite place, really comfortable with an access to waterpark. There are many hiking trails around, beautiful nature, good food and nice personal

Please, return back tea/coffee stations back to the rooms. Maybe it's available only in some rooms, but would be really nice to have it everywhere

It is great that the spa was included in the room price. The beds were comfortable. The location is really breathtaking! The pizza at the cafe was tasty too at a good price.

We received an animal room (we didn't have an animal with us). The decorative pillows and fabrics were stained. The bathroom was a bit weird with an old looking shower curtain.The hallways look very rundown, and the carpets in that particular hallway were a bit dirty.
