We used this accommodation as our home base for several day tours in the Finnish lake region, and we do not regret it for a small moment. A nice small guesthouse with a private sauna, just a short walk away from the harbour, offers anything you need as a tourist. Granted, the room may not have the most modern look, but we were happy nonetheless: the room was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen has many utensils. The biggest asset of this guesthouse? The host: a very kind and welcoming lady who helped us on our way multiple times. This hospitality was also reflected in all common areas, which were breathing a cozy 'welcome home'-atmosphere. I would most definitely book here again.

Nothing to mention here: our stay was very satisfactory and exceeded our expectations.

Third time staying at Kantolankulma. It's THE Place for me in Lappeenranta. Service has been always very friendly. Apartments are cosy and very clean. Extra points for free parking spots behind the house. Location is few blocks from the main center but close enough to walk in mere minutes. Warmly recommended 😊

The property was very well located. We were close to the city and we could see the lake from the balcony. The facilities were great, the beds were super comfy and everything was super clean. Will definitely make use of the property again in my future travels to Lappeenranta.

There was not much. There is no elevator so if you are someone that has difficulty with stairs ask for a lower-level unit.

I could have done with an extra pillow, which there was one, but no pillow case. But overall I can't really fault this place!

The location was very good. The apartment was spacious and the bathroom was big enough too. It was clean. Easy check-in and checkout.

The pillows were flat and old.

Feeling like home. We had one bedroom apartment with a nice kitchen, and decided to make our own breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby and the shopping center is within a few minutes walk from the Gasthaus.

Maybe the price is somewhat high for the no-service accommodation.

It was too cold and I spent almost the whole day trying to heat the apartment. All noises from the neighbours you can hear very well. But, this is a very nice place to stay.

Cosy little guesthouse in the centre of the town.Big and comfort room with good kitchen, quiet area, but very close to the restaurants and shops. Public transport across the street.
