Beautiful location right beside the river, truly picture perfect. Room was very comfortable and we really liked the little touches like bottles of water, home made granola bars etc.

The room was expensive so I would have expected breakfast to be included.

Good location. Wood fire in the bedroom, fuel supplied each day - a lovely touch. Bar service excellent.

Dinner at the restaurant was overpriced and service mediocre.

Loved the close proximity to lake Louise and the complimentary shuttle (shuttle driver was accommodating, polite and gave us great advice about local area, dining options etc).. Old style but very clean and comfortable hotel. Easy parking and good wi-fi connection. Complimentary afternoon tea was very handy and a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Noise from the train, definitely best to stay on the river-side of the hotel (they call it the preferred side as opposed to railroad side) I did request a quiet room in the original booking but this was not acknowledged at the time of booking or at the check in There was no fridge in the room but that did not bother us much The drain in the bathtub/shower did not drain well

If you want to go to Lake Louise and avoid the crowds, this hotel is a winner. Comfortable hotel if your room is on the river side of the building, but on the opposite side of the building (south side) you look at the parking lot. The hotel offers free transportation up to Lake Louise so you don't have to drive up to the parking lot prior to 6 AM (yes parking lot is full at 6 AM) and pay $36 to park and hike. The food in the main dining room and service was fantastic.

If you are in a room that overlooks the parking lot you'll also hear the trains blowing horns all night long. The pub food was OK but not the same quality as the main dining room. Not the hotel's fault, but Lake Louise is too crowded in the summertime. There must have been 3,000 people outside the hotel taking pictures of the lake making it difficult to get to the hiking trails going to the tea houses. If we go back we'll probably go to Morraine Lake instead as the crowds ruin the experience of nature. On the trail we hearing people everywhere say, "Did you post you picture online yet?" Not what nature intended.

Very central location to Lake Louise shops, Lakes and Gondola. Great service. Lake Morraine and Lake Louise Shuttle from the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast options are buffet or A la Carte. A little expensive i think, very good food. Nice indoor pool and steam room plus hot tub. Would be lovely it it was outdoors! Love the rooms with a balcony where you can open the doors and have lovely fresh air. It is near the railway line but the trains are more like a quiet hum at night and we did not find this a problem at all.

The Post House is well located in a nice setting near the LL Village Mall. Our room was clean and spacious with comfy beds and good shower. Very nice breakfast buffet available. Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby is a nice touch. All the staff were very friendly & helpful.

There was no refrigerator in our room. The piano in the bar is too loud to be able to talk easily, background playing would be much nicer. Hairdryer is of very poor quality, it took an age to dry my hair. There used to be only one elevator which became evident to us that staff take preference. A female member of staff with a posy of flowers on a large trolley reluctantly let me join her but told my husband he had to wait and shut the doors on him, she then took me to the basement and told me to go find him!!! On Sunday & Monday the pub is closed leaving only the very expensive fine restaurant available as a dining option, other establishments seem to be able to have their all their dining options open 7 days a week.

The Post has incredible ambiance and generally excellent staff. The location is also very good.

The Post should think about making its dinner menu more versatile (so menu readers understand one need not necessarily do 4 courses). I would also much prefer room rates to be slightly higher and for a Continental breakfast buffet to be included. While most staff is great, we found the housekeepers lacked the experience to know what to collect / what to rearrange etc. odd

Perfectly located in Lake Louise and could easily walk to some restaurants! Although we thoroughly enjoyed their main restaurant and the fondue restaurant was top notch! Nestled along a bubbling river and set against the mountains you could enjoy views from all around the property especially from our room! Staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive! We loved the salt water pool, steam room and hot tub after our long hikes. Special unexpected touches like turn down service at night with treat from the chef and water bottles. Coffee and tea station set up in the mornings. Plenty of complimentary on site parking and beautiful flowers in planters all around and even inside. Will definitely plan on staying here again!

This hotel offers great hospitality. The service is pleasant. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned. The front desk is wonderfully pleasant, and the shuttle staff are quick and always smiling. They offer morning coffee and tea at 3:00, and are always there to meet your needs. They always do everything you ask of them, so you can trust them. The food is also delicious.

We have been travelling across Canada and staying in lots of hotels. This is probably the best. The hotel is beautiful and offers a choice of fine dining and more everyday food in the "pub". The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, and there were lots of little touches that added up to a wonderful guest experience.

A fridge in the room would have been nice
