I don’t usually leave for reviews, but this is an exceptional hotel. The rooms were very large and well stocked, the pool with hot tub and waterslide or a ton of fun. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. We had a two bedroom queen that had a full living room and full-size fridge, etc. With a pull out bed to easily fit my whole family. Overall, I was extremely impressed with this hotel!

There are train tracks that run right through Lacombe and I suppose it is for safety that they roar their horns as they ride through town. It startled me awake very early in the morning, I think that would be the case for much of the town

Loved the hot tub in room and the staff was very friendly

The other guests were very loud waking us up at 11pm, 1am, 2am, 3am 4am before staff really got after them.

The staff were amazing, very accommodating & friendly. Pool was in excellent condition. Breakfast was very good & breakfast times were longer than usual. Hotel was quiet even though there were 3 kids hockey teams staying at the same time.

Could have offered more choices on TV

Breakfast was very good, lots of selection, good coffee. A directional sign on the main road should be erected. I drove right past the access road. Excellent access to a great playground & skate park.

The hotel was much more modern than I thought it would be and it was right across the street from the baseball diamond which was a big bonus since we were attending a tournament there.

Booking was a bit difficult and the rest of our team wasn’t able to book a room for the night, they were told it was a two night minimum.

Pet friendly room not available on arrival even though we booked one. They made an exception after multiple calls to management and charged significant fee plus deposit.

This hotel was much newer and nicer in person than pictures even portray. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially during breakfast service (which was a nice spread, and certainly lends value for the money spent on the room). The pool was clean and so much fun for the kids, especially the slide. You'd do well to mention the fact that the hotel backs onto a public park/playground/skatepark, and is adjacent to a large football/soccer field. It was an extra added bonus/surprise when we rocked up after an 8-hr drive, that the kids could get out to run and play and burn energy.

It would be more convenient for pool towels to be left poolside for the helping, but it's understandable that it may be easier to track them if you have to ask for them at reception (with theft and covid, I'm assuming this was an adjustment and they may originally have been located by the pool). Our stay was wonderful.

We stayed in the suite which fit our family perfectly. The pool with a water slide was a huge hit.

As all hotels are these days the room was a bit expensive for the location. It’s a small town in Alberta!

One elevator was out of order first day of stay and second elevator went out as well a short time later

The breakfast had choices for everyone which was good, Personally I did not like the scrambled eggs as they were not real eggs. The staff was awesome.
