It is a lovely facility and we enjoyed our one night stay. Comfortable beds with nice linens. We chose a cabin as it suited our sleeping requirements best. Lots of towels, robes, washroom amenities. Early check in was provided as requested.

Our cabin was so cold, the heat function on ac/heat unit did not produce heat. It was only comfortable when we were under the blankets. We left immediately in the morning because the room was too cold to enjoy. Check in was super slow, only one associate was helping clients at a very busy check in time. There were 2 other associates working but neither of them acknowledged the long lineup of clients awaiting check-in

As we were celebrating a 65th birthday, we just wanted an overnight getaway with a few amenities, and on-site dining. We chose the Old Orchard Inn as it was relatively close and it looked inviting. The Inn itself is very cozy, and I understand it is getting upgrades over the next few months (to both rooms and dining room). Our room was clean and comfortable (Standard Queen with sofa). We didn't have a view, just the parking lot, but that didn't matter at this time of year. We made reservations for dinner in the dining room and enjoyed an awesome meal. We did utilize the sauna and the indoor pool. We also enjoyed breakfast before we checked out. I definitely will go back, once the upgraded renovations are finished!!

I didn't dislike anything. The Inn is undergoing room updates and there were workers there, however, quiet and respectful. If we didn't see them we wouldn't have even known they were there. We did find the pool a little cool, but it was clean (and we had it to ourselves).

Grounds were beautiful, couldn't ask for a better view. Our cabin was quaint and cozy. The restaurant manager Meg was amazing, super nice and helpful!

Accessibility to cabins if you do not have a vehicle, we visited from Halifax via taxi, my husband had to push all of our luggage to a cabin all the way in the back. Luckily they had one luggage cart. The food was just ok, nothing special at all. Yogurt parfait in the morning was fantastic, but the seafood soup, was all cream and potatoes.

Food was great, completely ruined by the service or complete lack of it; breakfast (food) came before water juice and coffee then needed to wait 5 minutes longer to get the milk for the coffee. Neighbouring table had to wait for her tea as there was no clean tea pots. Plenty of staff moving around looking busy but you didn’t need to sanitize the same table three times… nobody guiding what seems to be a young inexperienced staff

The cottage was super cute! The staff we encountered were all amazing, friendly, and helpful. Loved the towel service right at the pool. The beds were comfortable.

There were cobwebs in several corners in the cottage, and we had to remove spiders. We booked for 3 but only had 2 towels and face cloths in a cottage that sleeps 4. We tried to get ice at the main lodge and were directed to the red barn, but it was always locked, and the doors were not clear, which was the right way in. Had to go back again to the main lodge to get ice. Need closely accessible and clear amenities for the cottages.

Cabins were clean and beds comfy. Food at the restaurant was lovely and the staff were really friendly . Restaurant bar and deck outlook was beautiful

Indoor pool was a nice bonus but a few negatives attached too - pool didn’t seem very clean (tile around the pool edges seemed quite grimy) and seemed to be a lack of changing facilities close by - which were needed when staying in the cabins

Location was good, right off the highway and the cabin was away from the main building and crowd.

The door was not secure. We left for a few hours and came back to find the door open and my dog outside. Thankfully she is a people dog and did not go far from the housekeeping staff, but it could of been much worse. The door was said to have issues as well as cabin 417! Please have the door fixed so no one else has to experience the fear of their dog getting lose so close to the highway!

the location and scenery was great. Its just off the main Highway. To get to the coastal drive was easy and really not far and simple to get to.

For the price you pay for a room, you should get breakfast. It didn't come with a microwave to heat up food you pick up. Eating in restaurants all of your trip gets tiresome. I like to make my own also. Their TV service is, well I won't say what, but get something worth watching in the evening

This was a last minute booking for us as we originally planned to camp that night but Hurricane Lee had other ideas. This Inn was near our original camping destination so we were happy about that. Staff was very friendly, we had a great dinner at their restaurant (loved the Digby scallops), and our cabin was very nice with two queen beds, sitting area, kitchenette, and full bathroom.

We pulled out the AC screen and it was very dirty. We cleaned it so as not to breath that air! The one thing we did not like was there was a street light just in front of our unit and because the windows in the apex of the roof area above the door did not have curtains it was very bright in our room when we went to bed around 10PM. When I got up to go the the bathroom in the early morning it had turned off, but this light should either go off earlier or provide curtains for the windows!

We love the location and the being in the valley. The hotel gave us an orchard view which was perfect to let the kids run outside and burn off some energy. The back door opened up into a grassy area and next to the apple orchard. The view from the restaurant was also lovely and perfect for sunsets. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub after dinner.

The floor that we were staying on was undergoing renovations and we were not informed of this when we checked in. We were surprised to see wires hanging from the ceiling in the hallway and posters on doors. There was no noise or debris but it was a bit odd to see without any warning. The room was a bit dated and the wallpaper was peeling in places. There was some obvious mold from the humidity and should have been taken care of by housekeeping.
