Our stay at The Maple Inn was a wonderful experience. Our hosts Paul and his son Wilson were extremely welcoming and kind and made our stay the pleasure it was. Paul's breakfast was excellent...three courses, different every day, artfully presented and delicious ! The guestrooms and the public areas of the inn are charming, comfortable, clean and well appointed . We really enjoyed the lovely paintings on the walls throughout the Inn, many by Paul's mother, a very accomplished artist. Our room was beautifully appointed and the attention to detail was outstanding. The location of the Inn is a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Parrsboro and to the waterfront. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and the amazing vistas of the Minas Basin on The Bay of Fundy !!! A very big thank you to Paul and Wilson.

What a wonderful stay! The hosts were amazing from arrival to departure. The joy and pride the Aikens take in their inn was obvious. The inn is beautifully and tastefully decorated with lots of interesting photos and historical facts about this inn, which was once a hospital. Family photos as well as Paul's accomplished and continuing musical career also grace the walls. My room, named The Delivery Room, was a nice size and the bed was so comfy! The room had two large windows with a lovely garden view. The bathroom amenities were exceptional. The breakfast was generous and delicious! The inn provided extra details that really added to the stay such as a help yourself kitchen area where coffee, various teas, water, and ice were available. There was also a popcorn machine with popcorn ready for the taking and a number of board games and available reading material. The deck was large and lovely with comfy furniture and a fire pit. The family has solar heating in place and other measures in making their inn as environmentally friendly as possible. Thank you Paul, McKenzie, and family! You have a gem of a place!

Everything was excellent!

I liked the room - it was cozy, quaint, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very modern. The shower and breakfast were awesome. The rooms are individually decorated. The owner is friendly and there was soft music playing in the main area all the time. The room was conveniently located close to the car.

There was only a ceiling fan in the room. No air conditioning. No microwave or refrigerator. Could not heat my coffee and the hot water for the tea in the lobby area was not hot enough to make tea.

Host was super friendly and thoughtful, breakfast was homemade and delicious, slept in the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in

Since the inn is an old house and not intentionally made to be an inn the room we stayed in had the bathroom down the hall. Nothing to be done about that there just isn't room to have an ensuite, but the hosts provided robes that we could wear to head to our bathroom which I thought was a very nice touch

The entire inn is very well maintained and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Also, the owner is so very friendly and attentive to details. We wished that we had planned to stay longer, but laid out a fairly aggressive schedule to visit Nova Scotia and PEI.

Everything!!!...An Absolutely Wonderful Inn To Stay Over At...Very Relaxing,clean,comfortable beds,and,lovely hosts and great food...I would recommend this Inn...without a doubt, one of the best in Nova Scotia...

The rooms are lovely with nice linens. great spaces for guests to relax with lovely music playing and 24 hour coffee and tea. Breakfast especially nice-loved the scones both mornings. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Nothing-it was a treat to stay there.

Beautiful and comfortable room. They were so kind and accommodating. Went out of their way to create a breakfast my vegetarian self could adore. Five star treatment, without feeling uptight at all. They helped us plan our itinerary for the day!

The property is lovely, the owner knows exactly what he’s doing, he’s organised, and runs a good business. It’s well located and has excellent staff.

It’s a great find, and we enjoyed the stay, on top of that Parrsboro is absolutely beautiful

Quiet room and lovely dining area. This was just an overnight night stop for us. I missed on booking that Hatfield Room (lovely) has bathroom down hall but it isn’t shared with anyone so that was okay.

Would have liked a savory at breakfast.
