The included breakfast was really good, I considered it gourmet food made to order! I had the Tattingstone Benny both mornings and I was happy with the portion - just the right amount of food for breakfast. The use of potato pancakes rather than English muffins is ingenious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You could tell they have been trained to do whatever can possibly be done for the guests rather than sticking to a list of rules. We had the Charcuterie board with glasses of Tidal Bay wine on the patio in the evening - it was superb and a perfect end to our day! Ella, our server, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The decor and cleanliness were excellent! A lovely bed and an updated bathroom made our stay very comfortable.

Just one small glitch in our stay - We are both seniors with some mobility issues and I had asked for ground floor accommodation when I made the reservation in March. There are no elevators to transfer luggage to the upper floors so I would suggest a service to handle the luggage would be a nice touch if my request could not be met or I should have been made aware beforehand that there were no ground floor rooms available.

It was a long drive to Wolfville, but well worth the wait! The property is beautiful, and we were warmly greeted by the front desk by I believe Malachai (so sorry if I butchered the name or spelling!). He proceeded to efficiently check us in, set up our complimentary breakfast reservation in the morning, and even walked us to the room to explain all the features, the TV, the HVAC, etc. The room was delightful, the breakfast was delicious, and every employee was beyond nice. By far the best hotel stay I've had in years, possibly ever. I highly recommend the confit tomato toast for breakfast. 10/10 experience.

Nothing; we stayed for two nights and it was delightful. If we didn't have to hit the road so early the morning we checked out, I would've definitely stayed for the breakfast again.

Wonderful greeting from the friendly receptionist who carried our case and showed us to our room. Spacious room, tea and coffee available and plenty of power points. Breakfast was excellent, again served by friendly and efficient staff. very attractive dining room.

There's very little to say other than the fact the bathroom was looking a little tired and needed repainting. One thing to note is that our four poster bed was very high (a little set of steps were provided) so it's worth checking if that may be a problem. It could just have been our room.

Well what can we say except it was wonderful from check in to check out and all places in between. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room beautiful and comfortable and thank you for 2 chairs as often hotels and bnbs only have one. Hence no one had to sit on the bed when we had tea. The happy hour and outdoors were great. Loved the chance to meet and talk to other travellers. Breakfast was fabulous.

Beautiful building and grounds, with a lovely restaurant room. We had dinner at the Tattingstone, and wow--food was absolutely fantastic. We were again delighted with our breakfast. Lovely staff, and a great location with an easy stroll into downtown Wolfville. Great attention to detail with comforts in the room--small refrigerator, glasses, etc.

Bathroom could use some more shelves to hold toiletries.

Location is beautiful and breakfast was exceptional.

We were not advised of a scheduled power outage between 12am -7am, before we arrived or even at check-in. My husband uses a CPAP machine to help with his breathing while he sleeps. Without power that machine stopped working, and of course the air conditioning. The power was finally restored later than planned at 8:45am, so we were able to have the gourmet breakfast at 9am that was included. I feel bad for many guests who were only served coffee and a cold breakfast before they had to checkout.

The staff were really helpful. We needed assistance with our cases from and to the car and the receptionists helped us promptly and with a smile. The breakfasts were excellent, with table service which is unusual nowadays.

We were in the main house, which was full of character, but the decoration in the common areas up to the room and in the room itself was rather “tired”.

The rooms were lovely! They accommodated my mobility challenged nephew, by putting him in a room on ground level (can’t do stairs). The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! The grounds are so beautifully maintained! It was just a delight all round

Historic property, quite beautiful. Friendly & good service. Overall we had a good experience.

Probably wasn't quite worth the price. The room was pretty, but some little things weren't convenient (placement of lights, electrical sockets, lack of a desk for doing a little work). Bed was too soft for our tastes. Breakfast was fine, but nothing spectacular. Location isn't quite as central as I expected, though it is nice and quiet. It was fine, but not the most memorable place we stayed at on this trip.

The breakfasts were great, especially the fish cakes. Room was large, comfortable and vintage. Parking was easy, I liked that each room had a designated spot. The Tattingstone is easy walking distance to Acadia and the town of Wolfville.

There were a number of glasses in the room, for wine, coffee etc. There probably should have been some sort of daily housekeeping to clean them when they were used. Also the bathroom fan was loud
