It was a long drive to Wolfville, but well worth the wait! The property is beautiful, and we were warmly greeted by the front desk by I believe Malachai (so sorry if I butchered the name or spelling!). He proceeded to efficiently check us in, set up our complimentary breakfast reservation in the morning, and even walked us to the room to explain all the features, the TV, the HVAC, etc. The room was delightful, the breakfast was delicious, and every employee was beyond nice. By far the best hotel stay I've had in years, possibly ever. I highly recommend the confit tomato toast for breakfast. 10/10 experience.

Nothing; we stayed for two nights and it was delightful. If we didn't have to hit the road so early the morning we checked out, I would've definitely stayed for the breakfast again.

Location is beautiful and breakfast was exceptional.

We were not advised of a scheduled power outage between 12am -7am, before we arrived or even at check-in. My husband uses a CPAP machine to help with his breathing while he sleeps. Without power that machine stopped working, and of course the air conditioning. The power was finally restored later than planned at 8:45am, so we were able to have the gourmet breakfast at 9am that was included. I feel bad for many guests who were only served coffee and a cold breakfast before they had to checkout.

Historic property, quite beautiful. Friendly & good service. Overall we had a good experience.

Probably wasn't quite worth the price. The room was pretty, but some little things weren't convenient (placement of lights, electrical sockets, lack of a desk for doing a little work). Bed was too soft for our tastes. Breakfast was fine, but nothing spectacular. Location isn't quite as central as I expected, though it is nice and quiet. It was fine, but not the most memorable place we stayed at on this trip.

The rooms were lovely! They accommodated my mobility challenged nephew, by putting him in a room on ground level (can’t do stairs). The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! The grounds are so beautifully maintained! It was just a delight all round

Absolutely nothing! They clearly pride themselves on thinking of all the little touches to make your stay enjoyable

The breakfasts were great, especially the fish cakes. Room was large, comfortable and vintage. Parking was easy, I liked that each room had a designated spot. The Tattingstone is easy walking distance to Acadia and the town of Wolfville.

There were a number of glasses in the room, for wine, coffee etc. There probably should have been some sort of daily housekeeping to clean them when they were used. Also the bathroom fan was loud

The room was lovely, a 4 poster bed from the era, if I was any shorter though I would need a step stool to get up into it! It fit the period the inn was from, no complaints!

Absolutely nothing! It was walking distance to the town , shops, pubs and restaurants for dinner. Suggested dinner at a Greek style restaurant was perfect. Good portions, excellent food.

Loved the six course dinner with wine pairing. Chef Penner is exceptional. We also loved the Fossils and Flavors tour. Chris Mansky is very knowledgeable about geology and an excellent teacher. We learned a lot about the discovery of the missing link between fish and tetrapods right here on Blue Beach. It was fascinating.

The property was located within close proximity to town, but not in town. The buildings were beautiful. The setting was beautiful. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast included was amazing.

We had no difficulties or problems at all, with the exception of a hairdryer that needed to be replaced because it burned both of our hair. We told the owner and I’m sure it will be handled promptly.

The house and grounds are beautiful, and the rooms ( in the main house) are spacious and well appointed. The 5 course dinner with wine pairings is sensational! The breakfast, included, is delicious!

My fish cakes were cold, so I returned them and the same thing happened the second time around-they were frozen and either they were not cooked long enough or the oil wasn’t hot enough.

From our arrival to our departure the following day we felt very welcomed. Wonderful accommodation in the carriage house. Our breakfast was absolutely delicious. Would stay here again- ABSOLUTELY 👍👍 A very special treat.
