As we were celebrating a 65th birthday, we just wanted an overnight getaway with a few amenities, and on-site dining. We chose the Old Orchard Inn as it was relatively close and it looked inviting. The Inn itself is very cozy, and I understand it is getting upgrades over the next few months (to both rooms and dining room). Our room was clean and comfortable (Standard Queen with sofa). We didn't have a view, just the parking lot, but that didn't matter at this time of year. We made reservations for dinner in the dining room and enjoyed an awesome meal. We did utilize the sauna and the indoor pool. We also enjoyed breakfast before we checked out. I definitely will go back, once the upgraded renovations are finished!!

I didn't dislike anything. The Inn is undergoing room updates and there were workers there, however, quiet and respectful. If we didn't see them we wouldn't have even known they were there. We did find the pool a little cool, but it was clean (and we had it to ourselves).

The cottage was super cute! The staff we encountered were all amazing, friendly, and helpful. Loved the towel service right at the pool. The beds were comfortable.

There were cobwebs in several corners in the cottage, and we had to remove spiders. We booked for 3 but only had 2 towels and face cloths in a cottage that sleeps 4. We tried to get ice at the main lodge and were directed to the red barn, but it was always locked, and the doors were not clear, which was the right way in. Had to go back again to the main lodge to get ice. Need closely accessible and clear amenities for the cottages.

Location was good, right off the highway and the cabin was away from the main building and crowd.

The door was not secure. We left for a few hours and came back to find the door open and my dog outside. Thankfully she is a people dog and did not go far from the housekeeping staff, but it could of been much worse. The door was said to have issues as well as cabin 417! Please have the door fixed so no one else has to experience the fear of their dog getting lose so close to the highway!

the location and scenery was great. Its just off the main Highway. To get to the coastal drive was easy and really not far and simple to get to.

For the price you pay for a room, you should get breakfast. It didn't come with a microwave to heat up food you pick up. Eating in restaurants all of your trip gets tiresome. I like to make my own also. Their TV service is, well I won't say what, but get something worth watching in the evening

This was a last minute booking for us as we originally planned to camp that night but Hurricane Lee had other ideas. This Inn was near our original camping destination so we were happy about that. Staff was very friendly, we had a great dinner at their restaurant (loved the Digby scallops), and our cabin was very nice with two queen beds, sitting area, kitchenette, and full bathroom.

We pulled out the AC screen and it was very dirty. We cleaned it so as not to breath that air! The one thing we did not like was there was a street light just in front of our unit and because the windows in the apex of the roof area above the door did not have curtains it was very bright in our room when we went to bed around 10PM. When I got up to go the the bathroom in the early morning it had turned off, but this light should either go off earlier or provide curtains for the windows!

We love the location and the being in the valley. The hotel gave us an orchard view which was perfect to let the kids run outside and burn off some energy. The back door opened up into a grassy area and next to the apple orchard. The view from the restaurant was also lovely and perfect for sunsets. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub after dinner.

The floor that we were staying on was undergoing renovations and we were not informed of this when we checked in. We were surprised to see wires hanging from the ceiling in the hallway and posters on doors. There was no noise or debris but it was a bit odd to see without any warning. The room was a bit dated and the wallpaper was peeling in places. There was some obvious mold from the humidity and should have been taken care of by housekeeping.

I really loved the concept of the place. The first floor rooms that overlook the orchard are the best. There is a pool and lots of space to run around. And the big restaurant and roof top patio has character. The view is super.

The whole place is way past it's glory days. The rooms strongly smell like mildew and old smoke. The staff is totally frumpy and morale appears low. Someone needs needs to inject some capital, some heart, and some vision to revive it.

We loved it! I hope we can stay a little bit longer! (We only stayed for one night) It is a GREAT Inn! I knew this inn when I lived in Wolfville, that was about 13 years ago. If you drive from high way, you can always see the signature arm chairs at their sun deck. The restaurant is hands down the best restaurant in the entire trip. We stayed for dinner and breakfast, the food is ‘phenomenal ’, and the service is lovely. We stayed in one of the cottage, peaceful and tranquil. It’s two queen beds, I was kinda hoping one big bed, so me and my hubby can sleep together and not too tight. Walking around the area is calming and soothing, it has tennis courts, a pool, and a spa. I will DEFINITELY recommend to friends, and will definitely stayed again if I ever come back to NS.

This is a charming place with lots of character. The property is large with lots to offer, so guests don't need to venture out to find something to do. It has lots of nice little touches, like bath robes and apples in the room. Our room had a nice, deep tub and a convenient outside entrance overlooking the gazebo.

If you're planning on doing things in Wolfville, you won't be walking there, but the drive is easy. The ceilings were a little low in our room, which is only an issue for taller people in the shower. Anyone taller than 6'3" will be cramped.

Location was great. A repeat stay & so very happy with the experience.

Not having time to use the pool. Portions of food in the dining room were far too big, especially for those with senior appetites. Breakfast was even too big for larger men judging by their comments. This was especially noticeable in Eggs Benedict portions & oatmeal. Patrons could have been asked their preferences. Variety of food was very good. Desserts were delicious.
