My wife and I stayed in Chambre Lilas, and our niece stayed in Chambre Nenuphar for 3 nights to visit the nearby castles of Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte. The rooms are cosy with simple bathrooms, but the large, shared adjoining modern kitchen, dining and lounge area with huge exposed wooden beams, more than compensates, giving the homely sensation of living in a self-contained cottage within a stately French Manor. The views from the bedroom windows are magical! The manicured front garden area and rambling rear garden stretching to the banks of the Seine are breathtakingly beautiful to sit or go for a wander in absolute serenity! A delicious breakfast was served in the old-world charm of the Manor dining room by our impeccable hosts, Anne and Erik. Easy, secure parking was a bonus. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We were looking for weekend accommodation just outside Paris as a base for excursions to Fontainebleau and the surrounding area. The hosts were always welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. Seine-Port is also worth a visit. Due to traffic, we arrived later than agreed, but this was not a problem. The hosts greeted us warmly and explained everything in detail despite the late hour. The manor house has a wonderful charm (and history) inside and outside, as does the large park-like property with many opportunities to sit and relax (children have plenty of space to play and explore). The direct access to the Seine is something special (with seating), even if we didn't have the opportunity to swim (only recommended for very experienced swimmers). But it's enough to dip your feet in. The guest rooms are located directly under the roof and are connected to a large common room with a shared kitchen. We only used this to prepare our picnic meals, but it is more than fully equipped. Breakfast was sweet (as it`s common in France) and plentiful, with baguettes, croissants, homemade jam, juice and coffee or tea as desired. The hosts live on site themselves and take good care of their guests. We would love to come back again.

Incredible place, one of a king. A HUGE garden where you can relax, enjoy. Never in my life I have been in a place like this. This is a classic house, so do no expect modern accommodations, but you will be more than compensate it if you want to be in such a wonderful environment.
I booked the day when all communications in the world were down. So I think they could not tell me that there was a barrier to enter the property. Just you must know that, if you are driving your own car, you just need to walk a few yards to ask for the barrier to be open. Not a big deal.

A 10 point scale is simply not enough. Magnificent XiX century villa with a rapid river crossing its hugue and walled garden and joining Siene on their private beach where you can bath and swim. The owners are so stylish and are truly magnificient hosts. Their attention to detail and care is surpassing any standrads of 5-star butique hotels. It is a hotel-aristocracy bar none.
(what a stupid question ;-)- not applicable)!!!!

Beautiful property close to Paris, Fointainebleau, Vaux Le Vicomte and Loira Valley. Amazing garden where to chill and relax right by the Sena River where I could picnic while watching the sunset. Thank you Anne and Erik for such a great hospitality.

The location is paradise. A gorgeous old house with an enormous garden leading down to an idyllic stretch of riverside. Anne and Eric make hosting seem effortless and the breakfast is just right.
Hortensia room (the twin) has its own bathroom and toilet but you have to cross the guest lounge to get to them, while your peace depends on nobody talking in the lounge or kitchen outside your door. The other two rooms are more self-contained.

The hosts Erich and Ann were lovely. Erich helps you unload your luggage and directs you where to park. The accommodation is amazing, a beautiful house built in 1890, in a beautiful property, with a path down to the Seine River. Breakfast is amazing, nothing is too much trouble, and we would love to come and stay again. Erich gives you information about places to visit and advice about where you should go and what to see, which was great. Thank you for an amazing stay.
Nothing, we loved it!

Great setting in big grounds, tables and chairs dotted around the grounds for sitting out. Very comfortable and clean apartment. Very friendly owners. Excellent breakfast - homemade jam and yoghurt. We only stayed 1 night, there are other places round about that we hope to visit in the future and we will try and stay here again.

Anne and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our interactions with them, and the grounds were beautiful. It was very relaxing to sit in the garden. The only thing missing were some lawn sports!

Great hospitality in a very beatiful building; Very friendly welcome, although I arrived a bit later than originally scheduled. A beautiful and expensively furnished historical building, ideal for both short and long stay. A well equipped living and TV room with a kitchenette in the top floor could be used by the guests of three adjacent rooms.
The WiFi signal was better in the living room than in my bed room.
