The breakfast was great, really enjoyed the soup. Was about a 6min walk to subway & train station so that was a real bonus. Staff were very helpful, had to use our translators but we got there

Nothing really that I didn't like

Room is fairly large compared with other business hotels I've been to. It is also a short walk from keikyu/JR kawasaki stations. Lots of shopping and restaurant options around the area. Good place to take a rest before your next flight as it is around 20 min from the airport via express train.

Limited breakfast option

This hotel is very close to eating places, shopping streets, supermarkets, and the JR Station and the Keikyu Station. The standard twin room is fairly large and easily accommodates two people with luggage. The corner double room is large and it allows people to work comfortably. The hotel is pretty quiet and you can ask the housekeeping staff to leave fresh towels hanging from your door if you do not want them to enter your room to clean up (two days max). The staff will clean your room on the third day. The Excelsior Caffe is on the first floor, and you can get breakfast from there for an additional fee. If you want to become a Sotetsu club member, sign up and download their app so you can get benefits for future stays.

There is only one laundry room with four machines to service the entire hotel so it’s hard to wash laundry. It takes about two hours and the clothes were still wet. You can hang the clothes in your room to dry.

The room was very spacious for Tokyo standards. We had two separate beds and each bed was more than wide enough for 1 person. It was more like a 1,5 person bed each. The bathroom was nice too and clean If you use the Greater Tokyo Pass then it’s amazing too with keiyku-Kawasaki station 10 minute walk from the hotel

The only minus point is the location. In Kawasaki itself it’s a very good location with shops and restaurants nearby, but if you’re planning to go to the center of Tokyo every day like we did, it’s a 50 minute train ride each time which can cost you a lot of money if you don’t use a pass like the Greater Tokyo one

All staff very polite and helpful. Plenty of amenities to take and use (comfy pj’s, bath salts, face masks and toothbrushes etc) Was very close in proximity to both train stations and shopping centres. Some amazing shops down the side streets. Lots of eateries close by with different choices of cuisine to choose from. We had a corner double which gave us plenty of room. The ladies who service/clean the rooms were always so polite and friendly. We will definitely use this hotel next time we come back to Japan!

Nothing to dislike other than having to leave!

The staff are extremely helpful. The facilities are great, especially the bathroom with hot water running all the time and a decent bathtub.

The rooms are too small. I understand the Japanese people are the best in saving space and designing smart multi-purpose living blocks, but it is not very common for the Vietnamese or Europeans. We have everything we need in a room except some space and fresh air to breathe. The breakfast options are quite limited too (just 4 types of toasts).

THE LOCATION was a pleasant surprise. It's in the Kawasaki area and I didn't expect to be captivated by all the shopping centers and nightlife in this part of Tokyo as well. The staff was very nice and I loved how clean my room/bathroom was as well. The breakfast was good. Easy check-in/check-out process and they extended my checkout easily for decent price. I also liked that I did not have to return my key each time I left the premises!

I'm not sure if it's a known issue or what but their dryer also barely dried my clothes after I'd washed them. Not sure what that's about but I'm sure the staff cannot do much about that.

Wow, this place must be Japan's best kept secret! Staff are lovely. The hotel is like a home away from home and they've thought of everything, including having certain electronics (such as for your hair) which you can borrow and return. Two very comfortable pillows per bed and the mattresses were medium hardness which was perfect for us. The amenities on offer are the best we've seen so far in Japan and the rose bath salts were appreciated after a long day of walking. The rocking chair in the room was also extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing of significance.

Location was good and Staff were good. loved the bath in the bathroom was good to have at times. Right next to a 7/11 and a gym with a pool and sauna, wish they did a special for those staying at the hotel.

the air conditioning was a bit tricky one minute im cold and one minute very warm without changing anything in the settings it was difficult to maintain a consistent temp in the room

Excellent location and value for money. The hotel is 6-8 mins walking distance to 2 train stations, JR Kawasaki and Keikyu-Kawasaki, for travel to Tokyo or Yokohama. From Haneda Airport, you can reach the hotel in 30mins using either train or bus. Don Quijote, Ichiran ramen, Komeda's Coffee, and several convenience stores are less than 5 mins away.

No smart TV in room, so I can only watch Youtube on my phone.
