The beautiful beach

Arrived early. The front desk watched our luggage as we grabbed lunch. I had my Apple charger and AirPods and another charger stolen. Should have kept my luggage with me!

the staff was very nice - maid service very good - outdoor cocktail service very good - place has a charming set up that is very nice. Beach lovely -

food was good but not great - place needs some maintenance The water pools in the hotel were not filled and that looked unsightly - there are some areas that could use some improved landscaping. the restaurant could use a better option for takeout - it takes too too long ! some of the restauarnt staff was incredible and others were sort of solemn and did not seem happy. The christmas dinner at the restaurant was $150 pp and it was not nearly worth the cost. A dinner of that caliber should have been no more than $75 pp. It was a huge rip-off and it was not very good food . That was a big disappointment. During peak holiday they ran out of umbrellas

We stayed at the Bougainvillea for 11 nights and had a great time. The rooms were well appointed, comfortable and clean. Our room had a kitchenette which included a fridge/freezer, sink and cooker, as well as a toaster and coffee maker, which all worked perfectly. We loved the fact there were were three pools and that it was a 2 minute walk from our room to the beach, where there were plenty of beach loungers. The sea is wavey here (but was not too rough) it is not the placid waters of Carlisle Bay. However, it is very pretty, clean and the sand is almost white. The staff we met were very friendly and kind, and we enjoyed a few Happy Hour drinks and Manager's cocktail hour, which was fun. I was traveling with my wife and 5 month old baby and was a little concerned about how it would all work, but it was perfect. We were able to get a crib and highchair in the room and everyone was really helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time and wanted to stay longer!

There were only a few minor things to mention: - Unfortunately when we were there the beach and water had quite a bit of seaweed, which was not great for swimming. There was only one day when it was really clear. This is not the hotel's fault but it was not ideal. - Our room had an adjoining door and we could hear quite a lot in the other room (and I am sure they could hear our baby crying at times too). - The food at Calabash was really tasty but the portions are not huge and it is expensive.

The staff was amazing. Temar at the front desk, always had a smile, was helpful and remembered my son's birthday, and made sure he felt special. Jose and Vivan at the pool bar had great personality and energy. You can tell they love what they do, and it is felt by the guest!

The only downside was the massive amounts of seaweed/moss, which covered the beach front. The team made amazing efforts to ensure it was dealt with and cleaned up on a daily basis.

A lovely beach location, but taxis required to get to other restaurants in St Lawrence Gap or beyond. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing due to limited choice.

STAFF was absolutely wonderful! They were always cleaning: beach chairs, floors, etc Gift Shop and ladies working there, were great! Loved the nightly entertainment, vendors, complimentary chair massage and Happy Hour!! Our Room was decorated with Balloons and Wine for our 40th Anniversary! Thank you

Restaurant Service at Breakfast was very slow. My husband waited over 15 to get boiled water for tea. I wanted to enjoy the Spa, but the person who provided the Service I wanted was not working that day. Please Service LONGER Breakfast and Lunch times. There was an “All Day Menu” instead of Lunch. Thanks

Amazing location on the beach with a room where we could hear the ocean. Friendly staff and super clean. Comfortable bed , sitting room and good kitchenette. Enjoyable stay!

Nothing re property itself which is great but more location for those who like to explore. Difficult to swim in sea and could package with better information on neighbouring Deia beach facilities and good nearby restaurants. Limited quality restaurants if any on foot but Tapas and Champers accessible by taxi highly recommended.

The Hotel was pretty cool, lovely place. My family enjoyed the ambience, the staff were kind and lovely, some exceptionally so. The facilities especially the swimming pools were quite nice and my kids had fun with both the pools and the accessories they could get from the beach house. The swim up bar was also a beautiful experience with the kind bar tenders serving us. All in all, was a beautiful experience.

We could have had more options in food as we had to look out to the Bajan community for more options.

The property is lovely and the facilities are generally very good. The pool is nice, but nothing special. I appreciate that they have a separate kids' pool. We enjoyed one dinner and one lunch at the restaurant. They have very tasty food that is fresh, but the service is super slow, so be prepared. The prices are fair. We went to the gym twice. Some of the equipment is old, but most of it is just fine. It's in the basement and smells a little funny. We enjoyed the quiet a lot. You need to be prepared to walk a bit to get most places (including the bus stop). Or rent a car or take a cab (expensive).

The gym could have been a bit better.
