We had a 10-day stay at Punta Cana Princess Adults Only, and overall, we had a fantastic experience. Despite some mixed reviews we had read beforehand, we found the hotel to be well-maintained, comfortable, and a great choice for a relaxing getaway. Room & Facilities Our room was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was large and very cozy, ensuring restful nights. We also appreciated the terrace, TV, sofa, fridge, and even a jacuzzi, which added a nice touch of luxury. Everything was clean and in good working order, which was a pleasant surprise given some of the concerns mentioned in online reviews. However yeah it would be worth to do some maintenance and upgrades to the rooms - that would be great. Food & Dining Experience We thoroughly enjoyed the food at the main buffet and the à la carte restaurants. The Steakhouse and Mare Nostrum were our favorites—excellent meat dishes at the former and fresh, well-prepared seafood at the latter. The buffet at the Adults Only resort had a great selection, and while we also tried the buffet at the neighboring Princess resort, we preferred our own. Although the other buffet had a wider selection of desserts, it felt more crowded and, in our opinion, less hygienic. Finally really enjoyed the Santo Domingo coffee at Mare Nostrum (they have a coffee machine in the bar near the beach). Atmosphere & Resort Comparison When deciding where to stay, I was torn between Punta Cana Princess Adults Only and the larger Princess resorts nearby. After visiting the others, I’m extremely happy with our choice. The Adults Only resort is smaller, which means it’s better maintained, less crowded, and more peaceful. The overall atmosphere was more relaxed, making it perfect for couples looking for a quieter getaway. Weather & Activities Unfortunately, during our stay, the weather wasn’t ideal (kind of weird for February tbh) - lots of rain, wind, and rough seas.

The exact vibe to a resort we were looking for! Quiet, laid back fun! Great outdoor atmosphere! 24 hour bar was in open air on the beach. The resort is a great small size making everything easy to walk to. The beach was amazing! But the staff was the absolute best part: welcoming, happy, accommodating, friendly, and so much more.

Big dislikes: Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Hot water in the shower was very mild. Dislikes but not game changers: Food was good! But had better selections at other resorts in the area. Chlorine in the pool turned my white bathing suit yellow. VIP service not worth the hype, didn’t notice much difference from what was available to everyone else.

I love the staff and the beach. Food is also great. Entertainment and buffet staff are amazing.

Room was only clean one time in my 3 days stay , bathroom has a nasty smell and mold . Resort is more for 50 and plus people not for younger people.

Beautiful resort with one of the cleanest and nicest beaches on that coastline (in our opinion). The staff was amazing, caring and very attentive. The food was decent - at the end we liked more variety in the buffet rather than restaurant options (TexMex & Mediterranean restaurantes are pretty good, but menu is limited). Resort is not very big which makes it more cosy. Jacuzzi is a nice romantic touch of the rooms. There are excursion options in the hotel reception or at the beach.

The bathrooms are quite outdated. Bathroom with toilet isn't properly isolated from bedroom in terms of privacy. Air conditioning was working but wasn't great and seems had a fixed option of temperature. Few times we didn't had fresh towels after room cleanup (they were delivered later). We didn't liked that much quality of alcohol (especially wine served in the restaurants).

The location was amazing. You are right on the beach, and the resort isn't so big that you feel like you are walking forever to things. The food was good but not amazing, but I am a picky eater, so I was prepared for that. The bali beds were amazing they were well worth the upgraded package because the umbrellas in the normal section fill up fast...(If you burn easily, these may not be the best for you, because you get tons of sun.) All the staff was so nice to us we couldn't have asked for any better. We never laid by the pool because there was no shade, but we had a pool view, and the pool always looked like so much fun. They had a foam party, did kayak races, and volleyball games and so much more.

So our room was great, but the only bad thing was when you did take a shower, it would run everywhere. The shower wasn't tiled to have the water drain back. But we just took one of the beach towels each time and folded it up and slid it at the shower door, and it worked pretty well for the most part. Another thing, it didn't bother us but just for caution for men do not forget to bring close toed shoes, the resturaunts will not let men enter without closed toed shoes.

The atmosphere was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and plenty of sun beds. The pool bar was great. The food choices were very good.

The only thing that let the property down for me was the wine, being a wine lover and the Wi-Fi around the pool and outside areas but it didn’t bother me as I just spent more time in the pool.

The place was clean, and staff was super nice until I sat on the wrong bench!! The security guy stood in front of me to tell me I couldn't be there! Which is fine! But while I was gathering my things, he stood there waiting....I felt uncomfortable and like a delinquent!

The rooms were very nice and clean. The food was HIGH QUALLITY food! Soo good ! You have food in the buffet restoraunt, on the beach.. food 24/7 even past midnight. We were at coco bongo disko and came back to the hotel at 2:30am so hungry because we missed dinner and the guys at the beach restaurant made food for us at 3am. 👏 The hotel is a bit small but very good. Entertainment team is excellent ! Beach was okay.. Wi-Fi is great, you don't have to pay extra it's free everywhere just no Wi-Fi on the beach. The GYM is great it has everything you need except for the cable machine, but you don't need it because it has everything else, VERY high qualitty machines.

The shop is extremely OVERPRICED especialy the pharmacy but it was kinda our fault that we forgot the pills at home.

The surroundings and location of the hotel was spot on we used viator for transfer to hotel which was very inexpensive. The Italian resturant was to die for. The staff was amazing including the shows. We loved it there and our room was on the first floor right in the middle of it all. Its small and beautiful and my housekeeper made sure we had extra towels and stocked fridge

The beach has so much seaweed. It was unswimmable. The staff tried its best to keep up, but the sea realllllyyyy took over. You hardly saw anyone swimming in 5 days. The room air aircondition was less than cold. Now I've read about this so many times; that's why we asked clearly for a room on the 1st floor. The bathroom doesn't have a door to close while you're in the shower. And because I went with a friend, it was kind of awkward getting dressed or taking a shower.
