The pool, rooms and the property were stunning. We were so comfortable and relaxed for the week!

Drinks were watered down, the beach had a lot of seaweed, room service food was poor quality. For being a five star resort, I thought there would be better quality food.

This is an excellent resort. It is gorgeous and clean, with a large pool and a beach. Each day, the guests receive a text listing all the activities, and there is plenty to do in the morning, afternoon, and evening (for example, Yoga, Handcraft, Bike tour, Aqua Aerobics, Sports, Latin dance classes, Live music, and evening shows). There is no need to go out of the resort for entertainment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I paid a little extra for the 'preferred' option and do not regret it. Anibal was my 'butler,' and he was excellent--highly responsible, respectful, and friendly. Many people working in this resort go the extra mile to help the guests. These extraordinary workers include Julia, "La Diva," Rihanna, Beyonce (some use nicknames), Teofilo, Rigoberto, Jackson, Richard, Esperanza, and Maria. While tips are included in the final price, I highly recommend tipping some resort workers. No one knows how much of the "included tip" is given to the workers; thus, it is a way to help them financially (not to mention that the Hyatt is making a lot of money—remember, labor in the Dominican Republic is cheap).

The mini bar is quite basic, and some options are questionable. Would it be possible to include better chocolates instead of Milky Way and M&Ms? This is an adults-only resort, not children getting candy for Halloween. Pringlers...really? What about a bottle of wine to welcome the guests who have paid quite a lot for the stay?

The facility is very nice and the staff is awesome. Servers on the beach (Anyelina and Vanessa) are awesome. They took great care of us.

The Italian restaurant wasn't our favorite. The buffet doesn't serve dinner. It would've been nice to have a pizza spot at the facility. Television didn't offer enough american channels. The refrigerator in the room was not cold enough. The upgrade price for an "ocean view" room is a bit expensive considering how far you are from the water.

The staff were incredible everywhere we went. Made us feel very special!

We loved everything except the pressure by the Unlimited Vacations people. Made us want to avoid anywhere in the lobby when we were there.

Friendliness of staff. My concierge, Jourdain was awesome. Entertainment was very good and they offered a good variety. There was a good variety of things to do, whether it was relaxing or being active. The entertainment team was also very good.

I don't eat pork or beef so my meat options were limited. There were no turkey products.

The food was not so great this time. Really bland and tasteless, often cold. My bigger issue was getting roped into a "90 minute presentation" over breakfast the first morning. It was very misleading that it was only for 90 minutes and occurred simultaneously during breakfast. IT DID NOT. It lasted 4 hours and they threw 8 different people at us trying to get us to buy into a membership. We were very clear we were not interested in a timeshare type deal and they kept at us. This was a reward trip for me to celebrate finishing 6 weeks of chemo and radiation treatments for cancer and I got ill during the "presentation" and they still did not let us leave.

Beach is secluded, not crowded, clean of seaweed, beautiful views, IG worthy, beautiful swim-out pools, beautiful & spacious rooms, friendly & attentive staff, good food, good drinks, fun activities everyday, luxury spa, & I can go on & on.

Prices of some of the services could be less expensive. For example, the cabana rentals are $200 for 7 hours. It’s pretty steep, however the services that it comes with are awesome.

Amazing staff. Above average food for an AI. Breakfast was great. Loved the proximity to the airport and that you basically have your own private beach in Cap Cana. The massive shower with dual rainfall shower heads was really nice. Plenty of beach chairs available at all times.

Property is starting to show signs of wear. Did not use outdoor bathtub because it didn’t look that inviting. Food was a hit or miss. Drinks were weak and overly sweet.

Amazing service, top-notch food & location. The resort has lots of fun activities and free water sports equipment like paddleboards, kayaks, and sailboats. Evening shows are fun, especially the Queen tribute and the Michael Jackson show in the lobby. Cocktail bars are superb, and the staff is extremely friendly and fun! This is our second time returning to this resort, and both times we rented a beach facing swim out preferred club, which I'd definitely recommend!

The staff at Cap Cana made sure that we didn't have to worry about a thing on our honeymoon! Everyone was so kind and friendly. The resort itself was as advertised, beautiful.

We knew what we paid for and were happy with our choices, like our room. When we were checking in the person was offering us upgrades for extra money, like the preferred side or other rooms. I know it's part of the business but when arriving on your honeymoon I would prefer just to check in and enjoy our stay. It wasn't too bad. This was honestly the only thing that we "didn't like"
