This was what we were looking for: nearby train station and not so expensive. Well situated on the street with markets, boulangeries and restaurants and it was easy to visit the castle which is very nice sightseeing. Size of the room was very practical and we fit well (we had two rooms: in one room one adult and three small children under five years old and other room with one adult and two children aged 8 and 10). Check-in was done with machine and it was easy. We didn't see staff that much and everything worked well and we didn't have to and room was cleaned during the day. One toilet was broken but the staff repared it as we told about the problem. There was lot of free parking space.

Well located and great breakfast

The staff only speaks French (despite the booking.com ad says that they also speak Spanish and English). I was planning to arrive once the reception was closed and I had to contact the accommodation in advance (during opening hours). It was not easy to communicate (they only speak French) with them to get the access code but it all worked out fine.

Lovely room, we always like to have an opening window for fresh air. The shower was good, and the breakfast was excellent value and just what we needed to start the day. Excellent value for money and close to the town for restaurants.

I don't think there was anything, it was perfect

Close to the castle, easy to park next to the hotel, a nice restaurant nearby recommended by the staff. Felt quiet, secure, and very relaxing.

Wish eggs were included in breakfast, nice breakfast nonetheless.

Good location for walking into Avon or Fontainebleau. Big Carrefour just down the street. Staff were friendly and very accomodating of our toddler and her needs. Room was spacious and a good quality travel cot was provided. Although this is "Budget" it was actually better than the Ibis Styles we stayed in previously. Would recommend.

Could be more choice at breakfast.

Very nice and helpful staff. The booking description of the hotel was on point and the rooms were actually a little nicer than expected. Spartan but very functional and clean. Free parking. Air conditioning worked better than expected.

It would be nice to have an option to just get coffee in the morning instead of full breakfast. Coffee machine is tricky. Burnt my hand.

We booked a room with a double bed and a single bed which was just up to the double bed so it was a bit difficult to come up without getting hurt from the single bed

Staff was really nice. It was their closing time but they waited for us to check in. It was quiet and good price. Perfect for 1-2 nights.

Breakfast could have been a bit more varied, for example with boiled or friend eggs and fresh fruit.

Staff very friendly, bed hard but comfortable, shower was warm with great water pressure, nice tv, very close to train station and forest. Very basic hotel but met all of our needs.

It was overall clean but with some mold on the curtains, not spotless but not too bad to cause concern. Reminded me of a college dorm room.

The room was basic but roomy. There was a large window for plenty of light and also air conditioning. The shower was really good and the bed was really comfortable.

The wall colours of bright blue and yellow made the room look cheap. Plain white would have looked better. The tv was all French which is not great if you are British. A smart tv would be better. Also a small kettle would be great.
