I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and nicely designed. One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking the hotel’s serene garden (the hotel is small and designed on a way every room will have this view) The location couldn’t be better, with everything just a short walk away, except for INSEAD which was 18 mins walk away but I didn’t mind at all.

We asked for an extra blanket but they said it isn’t available. And I stayed for 4 nights and the toiletries (like lotions and other amenities) were not replenished during my stay. I ran out of them by the last day, which was inconvenient.

- Fantastic location, next to château with its beautiful parks, in the middle of the lively restaurant and market district, not far from the famous Fontainebleau Forest. - A beautiful and classy facility, freshly restored, with a wonderful courtyard. - Very friendly and helpful staff. - The wellness area is beautiful, and the massage was epic.

- The staff in the hotel restaurant were very friendly and well-intentioned, but seemed just a tad amateurish. - Unfortunately the sauna and Turkish bath were out of order (but these things happen). - It is not obvious how to get out of the busy street to unload luggage; it turns out there's a good solution, but it should be mentioned in the introductory e-mail. - One critique to our small-but-very-functional room: the bathroom door really should have been a sliding door.

We liked everything. The spa facilities were just fantastic after a long day walking. Being able to go for a private swim with no other guests allowed in your booked slot was so relaxing. The sauna and hammam were nice but the pool was really long and narrow. The breakfast was really good - lots of options with pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, bacon, scrambled egg, sausage, pancakes as well as tea options and coffee. The location was absolutely brilliant with the bus from the train station dropping us off virtually outside the hotel and it was a walk across the road to enter the Fontainebleau grounds, starting in the Gardens of Diana. The staff were lovely as well, especially Camile who gave us a very friendly welcome and smile every time we walked back into the hotel.

The room temperature could not be adjusted using the air conditioning controls. That was the only downside.

Good location and lovely pool and sauna.

The restaurant doesn’t open on a Sunday and there is no parking with the hotel (the booking.com filter needs changing!) local parking is expensive (45 euros for 24hours).

Great central location! We loved the central garden terrace - its beautiful!

Everything on the whole was great! I think the breakfast could have been better - it was a little disappointing given we were in France, where it’s so easy to create a simple beautiful spread. When we saw the breakfast spread we decided to find something better outside.

The hotel is in a great central location and all in excellent condition but the best bit is the staff who are all so friendly and helpful. It felt like home very quickly. The pool is very nice too. The public underground parking is very close by & easy to use. Highly recommended.

The mattress was too soft and wobbly. Every time my mom moved, she would wake me up. The breakfast was nice in general. But hot dishes were not replenished promptly after being eaten.

Small room , no soundproof between the rooms also they ask me for deposit €250 and they didn’t return it since 28/6 until today 2/7 they didn’t release my deposit They are not flexible for check-in before 3 pm It’s a small hotel from the hallway to the rooms

What a great hotel. The receptionist was so lovely and friendly. The spa was a real added bonus and it was fabulous. The room was quaint and perfect. Looking out onto a courtyard. I was travelling with a small and it was just perfect. Its situated in a great spot for Fontainebleu

Choice of pillows (not firm enough). Once the comfortable was removed, we felt more comfortable with the temperature of the room.
