Good selection of hot breakfast items and continental meats and cheese. Different teas and coffee to try. Lots of cakes and pastries. Lovely evening meal and dessert.

This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and they can't even offer you a complimentary bottle of water in the room. Paper cups and not a glass to use. Tea and coffee tray is very poor, one teabag and two sachets of coffee and not even any milk.

Visited so my husband and son (15) could climb and we could all do a day trip (via train from Fontainebleu Avon) to Paris. Fab base for that. Room was great. Beds comfy. Free (still and fizzy) water was great. Pool was lovely. Had pizza in Ury (which is walking distance) It was exceptional. (Ury is small - there is only 1 pizzaria! Really delicious. Sheep on site (kept to keep the grass down) were sweet too! Really liked the 'changing area' - a 2nd door divided the separate toilet and wardrobes by the front door from the sleeping area. Didn't hear a single door slam or noisy guests going to bed or going out early! Staff were lovely.

Was a pain we were 20 mins from Fontainebleu, but the drive was lovely so only a minor inconvenience.

Excellent free easy parking, easy and convenient to reach Fontainebleau (by car), an amazing bakery just 5 minutes from the hotel. Swimming pool was nice, not too warm (they said 30C, but it felt more like 26C), so not suitable for cold days (like 15C or colder), but definitely nice if temperatures are above 20C. It's not a "stay and enjoy " hotel, but super convenient, comfortable beds, good shower and small room just like 100% of french hotels. what you see is what you get. Stay there if you need a hotel around Fontainebleau and you are driving.

Rooms could be bigger, pool could be warmer (again, to be able to use it when colder outside). And there could be a microwave in the common area, that would be very useful

This is the second year that we've used this hotel as a base whilst Bouldering around Fontainebleau, it's a great location, plenty of parking, does a good breakfast, has good dinner options and the pool is a real bonus. The hotel is ten minutes drive from Fontainebleau town, so it was really easy to pop into town for dinner.

We visited the Fontainebleau area for a climbing holiday and found the location perfect with access to everywhere we wanted to go within a twenty minute drive. The hotel facilities were excellent, we enjoyed the pool and the outdoor space to catch some sun and made good use of the free pool table. The breakfast was also great!

We were extremely happy with our stay and don't have anyting negative to say.

The hotel was very nice - the rooms are functional and clean. The heated pool is nice and very popular. The evening buffet was outside which was great but resulted in flies all over it and the chefs were struggling to wave them away and also cook food etc. I really like the Novotel chain as hotels to stop over when driving through France.

Honestly, I do not undestand the negative reviews towards this hotel. I think the style is rather modern, it has all the comfort, in a nice position in the forest. The spa and heated swimming pools were amazing. Very recommended for a weekend getaway from Paris

The pool. Delicious breakfast. Nice outdoor seating. Quiet location.

Restaurant opens at 7pm, which I should have expected in France. So not a complaint, but a heads up to travelers with tired young kids.

The hotel is located outside Fontainebleau city centre and has its chill vibe, perfect for a quiet staycation. I even saw goats in the field outside the hotel. I was surprised that there were quite a number of charging stations for electric cars. I would like to thank the reception staff who was kind to let us check-in to the room early.

This hotel is perfect for those who drive or rent a car. If you are mainly there to visit Fontainebleau, you can still get your way around by local bus - just need to walk around 7-10 minutes into the village centre. There were like 5 buses a day. Otherwise you will need to get a taxi to city centre / Avon train station - may cost 50 Euro as there is no way to get any Uber there.

V friendly, lovely ambiance

The only thing that wasn’t great was that our window overlooked the conference centre abs a conference was taking place, late night chatting near our window was a bit irritating.
