The stay was amazing; you could really tell they paid attention to every detail in the room. It was very beautiful and cozy, with robes, plenty of towels, and a lot of space. Everything showed a great deal of care and attention to detail. Plus, the castle itself was beautiful, and you could have breakfast, walk around, and enjoy a huge park inside the grounds. They even had bicycles for you to ride, and the restaurants were incredible. The two closest restaurants were within walking distance, and there were other amazing options as well. the staff was also very kind and always attentive.

The chateau’s historic charm combined with modern amenities, create a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. The room was beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the garden. Breakfast room with 16th century wall tapestries was another highlight. The grounds were breathtaking, offering peaceful walks and lush gardens.

If there is one thing I can say, is that I would have preferred to have a separate bathroom, rather than a just a screen. The antique styled bathtub was beautiful though.

The location and accommodation is perfect to complement a trip to the Fontainebleau! The grounds are extensive but it is easy to explore on the bikes provided. The owners are very welcoming. The rooms all have their own history, which individual decor. As is to be expected in a property like this, bathrooms are all very clean but slightly dated. Breakfasts was an extra 17 euros/ person/ day, which seemed quite expensive given there were no hot options or even boiled eggs included.

Chateau de Bourron is a beautifully maintained treasure on the edge of a pretty village 10 mins from Fontainebleau and 90 mins from Orly Airport. An excellent place for a relaxing stay. Guy (his wife’s family own the Chateau) welcomed us and settled us in our comfortable room then greeted us with a friendly smile each morning and whenever we ran into him through the day as we strolled around the Chateau and it’s impressive grounds. Highly recommended.

We ate breakfast in a beautiful dining room in the chateau. The tables were set for each guest and there were ample selections. Since it was off season we didn’t even see other guests. Our host greeted us each morning.

The weather was wet. So it was not possible to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Some travelers may complain about not having a hotel experience but this chateau is perfect for an independent traveler.

It was a nice stay but the breakfast and amenities are a little below the par especially for the price that we paid. It was nice to walk around and admire the chateau but that is all

Breakfast was basically croissant and baguette. No eggs, etc. and doesn’t start till late like I think 730am or 8am. No pool. Bar wasn’t open and of course no restaurant. If you don’t have a car to drive around, not sure you will be stuck there.

This château is a true hidden gem! We were in the area for work without any particular expectations, but it turned out to be an incredible, family-owned castle with a stunning garden. The owner himself gave us a tour, and we had a truly wonderful time there. The main building and the guest house we stayed in are carefully decorated and have a cozy feel and gorgeous sun terrace.

Chateau Bourron was an exceptional experience. It is well situated for visiting key sites like Fontainebleau or Vaux le Vicomte and numerous other sites around the area. We wished we had left more time to relax and enjoy the Chateau and its beautiful surrounding park.

We should have allowed an extra day or two here.

Perfect chateau in an excellent location on the edge of a village with restaurants and short walk away, while also offering a large secluded area to enjoy walks and bicycling. Beautifully decorated and great attention to detail. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more.

Stunning grounds , we stayed in the grounds facility, Complete self contained unit a few steps from the chateau with a lounge snd fully equipped including an iron iron and board and beautiful outside seating to allow you to be self sufficient and very relaxed
