The location was fabulous. The view of the lake from our terrace was so lovely. Our bathroom was very clean & modern - nice to have a bath. The bed was very generous & comfortable. Parking was free & just behind the hotel. Breakfast was good with views over the lake. Reception was very friendly. The resort of Bagnoles de L'Orne is very welcoming, lots of places to eat & drink & lovely walks around the lake. There was something old fashioned about it all, but in a good way.

Ridiculous amount of steps from the car park at rear of hotel. I had said I was unable to manage stairs in the booking!! We finally managed to persuade the unhelpful receptionist to let us park at the front. The disabled parking spot was unavailable because the builders were parking there who were important than us according to the receptionist! The balcony needed a good wash and a coat of paint.

Loved the big comfy bed The bath. The sunny terrace with fabulous view of the lake. The pool was lovely. We had a really enjoyable relaxing time. We have been before many times and we will be back again soon. We Love Bagnoles de l'Orne

The carpet was stained. The furniture was chipped. The jacuzzi was out of order on the last day. The Restaurabt was honestly very poor and expensive. We will be coming again but will never eat in the restaurant again

We enjoyed the pool and sauna and found the facilities to be great. There was a nice bar area, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The views from the terraces are beautiful. The breakfast was very nice and the service great. There is secure parking available and you are right on the lake, so everything in Bagnoles is walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

There could be larger rooms / spaces for changing in the spa area.

I really like the area and have visited many times, this is the first time i have stayed at this hotel and i have to say so far its the best in the location. I will be staying again!

Towels for the pool, if they have towels available in the pool area it would be great as we had to use the towels from the bathroom in our rooms so when we showered the towels where still damp. Its sounds petty but it would just be a better touch.

Great location and view of lake. Responsive staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. When elevators broke down on our second day, staff helped us with mobility issues by taking us to our 4th floor room via the service elevators.

There was neither air conditioning nor hot water on our first night due to building system issues. Fixed promptly by morning. Elevators broke down on the second day.

The pool was brilliant, just what we needed! Our room was cosy and comfortable with enough heating to dry swimsuits over night!

We would have liked more tea, coffee and milk in our room plus a few bisquits. Disappointed with the restricted meal menu’s both Christmas eve dinner and christmas day lunch. Just one set meal, take it or leave it!! The breakfast menue was very sparse with a limited choice for the price paid!

Rooms have been redecorated since our visit last year, big improvement. Pool spa etc enjoyed. Excellent parking and resaurant for dinner.

Disappointing to find paper cups in rooms rather than glasses or cups, not even plastic ones. This is surprising in a hotel of this quality. Also found the bar to be closed at lunch time.

Excellent room with view from our balcony overlooking the lake. Very comfortable and clean with lovely bathroom. The hotel had a spa but we did not use owing to a one nigh stay. Evening meal was very good and breakfast fine but a little disappointing. Plenty of secure parking at rear of hotel and only a short walk into the town sightseeing.

Nothing really apart from the weather which was wet.

The location is beautiful. It is also located near many shops, bars and restaurants.

I’m just Knit Picking. When you check in, you initially are drawn to the small parking lot at the front of the hotel. You need check in first, in order to get your parking pass code to access the private parking lot at the back of the hotel. Parking at the front is tight so if you’re able park on the street in front of the hotel, you may find it easier. If however, you’re a blue badge holder, I’d suggest you advise the hotel in advance as parking at the front is limited. Once you have your code there is a large car park at the back which you access following the directions given.
