From the moment we greeted warmly by our host, Christine, we knew we had made the right choice. Tucked into the beautiful countryside our stay was quiet and idyllic. The converted barns we conformable, clean, and every detail considered. Christine recommended a restaurant in Bagnoles De L'Orne called Ô Gayot where we feasted on the daily menu, made with local ingredients, make sure to save room for dessert! Every morning we were spoiled with handmade pastries and jams including a toast made with local calvados (don't forget to check out the local cider shop just down the road). Returning from our excursions to the spa and surrounding forest we felt relief to be able to climb into the comfortable beds and watch a bit of french TV or walk down to see the donkey. Highly recommend this stay.!

Everything was superb.

Fantastic host with a great breakfast laid out every morning. The room was just right for accommodating our family of 4, very comfy beds and clean facilities. A great stop off for our trip between places. I can imagine it would be a great place to stay for longer if you were on a walking or cycling holiday.

The restaurant was unfortunately closed during our stay. So check with the accommodation before you arrive to avoid disappointment. Restaurants in the area aren’t easy to find but there are supermarkets scattered around.

The auberge was in a lovely rural location. We received a warm welcome from our hostess who prepared evening meals for us even though the restaurant was closed. Breakfasts were excellent and there were tea and coffee making facilities available throughout our stay.

A lovely pretty property with good sized comfortable rooms. Our host Christine was very helpful and friendly and was always there if we needed anything.

Given its location from facilities, maybe a fridge in the breakfast room that residents could use to keep drinks and provisions in.

We loved the rural location. The host was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was closed the nights we stayed but again the host cooked us a 3 course meal so we didn't have to drive to go elsewhere.

Nothing to dislike if you want peace and tranquility.

Everything was perfect. A beautiful, quiet location, convenient to everything I was looking to do in Normandy. Don't skip the breakfast either, it was consistently excellent and delicious.

Wonderful location with a lovely host. Extremely comfortable and clean. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Cannot fault any aspect- we will return when in the area. Thank you Christine for everything!

Peace and quiet of location. Pleasant welcome and attentiveness of owner. Excellent dinner, pre ordered at extra cost.

Location, difficult to find partly owing to signs saying lane blocked ahead, although we kept going and eventually found the property after asking a local lady (we were lucky to find as no-one else around)
