The hosts were truly lovely people who catered for our every need. We loved the garden where we could our dinner “en plain air”, accompanied by wine from the terroir sourced by our hosts. Our room was lovely - good bathroom - huge, comfortable bed. Fantastic homemade breakfast - pancakes made with eggs from hosts hens, homemade jam, homemade yoghurt (delicious), charcuterie from the region - truly a chambre d’hotes tres charmant. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect.

This was an absolutely excellent and pleasant experience in every respect! The hosts are doing everything to make you fell welcome. The property is very well maintained, with a beautiful garden, including space to sit. The breakfast is of a very high standard, with many home-made (!!!) delicacies, such as marmalade, yoghurt, chocolate cream, brioche . . . The appartement we had was very spacious, beautifully furnished, with a huge bathroom, including shower and bath tub! It was very clean and well-kept! It can easily compete with a 4-start hotel accommodation, but has the advantage of the very personal and charming attentiveness of the owners! Warmly recommended!

Nothing - it's really been an amazing stay!

Very good communication with Carole and Fred before we arrived. Our room was huge, bed very comfortable, decor great. Bathroom room excellent. Hair dryer in room as well. Tea and coffee available in room. Shared fridge to put anything you want in. Breakfast was really nice. We could choose our breakfast time to suit our needs. The grounds are fantastic, sunbeds, quiet area, labyrinth, swings, badminton, bouls and table tennis. So much for children and teenagers if required. Quiet village.

Amazing rooms fantastic decor.

Verging on obsessive instructions prior to arrival about check in and check out times. In our opinion 4pm to 10am is rather a short stay anyway but we got the message on the first time we were informed I think 5 messages about this which seems over the top. Wonderful accommodation but hosts seemed anxious about receiving us!

The owners were most welcoming. The accommodation was very personal, lots of personal touches. Our room had all we needed, toiletries towels, etc. The bed was most comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, lots of attention to detail and homemade produce. Whilst we didnt have children with us, they had given lots of thought into ensuring the children were well catered for. Thank you both for the special gift you gave us.

Given the very hot weather it would have been appreciated if there was a fan in the room. But that certainly is not a complaint just a suggestion.

It is an amazing house and garden. Breakfast was outstanding and all the extra details, such as children’s toys and outside games really made it. We were so impressed.

It was a 10/10 house and garden. The house is on a main road with limited facilities to walk to with a young family. Not the owners fault but the only thing we would have changed.

Perfect for an overnight stay, and also for a longer stay. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Great breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Nice for children with toys available. Beautiful, cosy, classic house.

Lovely spacious room. Quirky and comfortable. Friendly couple who couldn’t do enough for us. We checked in late due to traffic and Carole and Fred were very accommodating, booking us a restaurant in the town. Tasty breakfast with homemade and local produce. Perfect stay.

We stayed here 1 night as a stop-over as we headed North. The room was gigantic and very pretty. The bed huge and comfy. Kettle with tea and coffee. The gite has been superbly refurbished by the owners to be modern but still with its 18th centuary charm. The gardens C'est Belle! Breakfast was exceptional with so many hom emade items.

Check in is not until 1700 hours. Earlier would be nice, even if just to sit in the lovey gardens.

If anything, for us the pillows were too soft, but that is of course a very personal matter so just a very minor detail, everything else was superb!
