What a hidden gem! Down a little lane in the beautiful French countryside. Once through the gates an oasis of calm and comfort greeted you. Our hosts, Paul and Peggy were charming and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was huge and charming with antique furniture and accessories, bed also huge. The meals were sublime, Peggy is a fantastic cook and Both are great hosts, we were lucky enough to eat outside on both evenings. The pool was clean and very welcoming spot to chill in the afternoon heat. Overall a great mini break we would stay again in a heartbeat

Whilst our room was huge the bathroom was a little on the smaller side. It didn’t affect our stay at all just sharing this information for openness (we stayed in an annexe room with a lovely outside seating area)

I just want to say from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel truly welcome. Me and my group of friends feel as if we've gained an extra family. No matter what the ask was the service exceeded our expectations and to have hosts that were so friendly and easy to talk to. I miss them already and cannot wait till I can go back and See Auntie Peggy & Uncle Paul. If you are in the area and you want somewhere to stay that is truly perfect and supporting people that absolutely deserve all the good that comes in life then look no further. Paul & Peggy you have customers for life and I can't wait to come back and share some wine with yourselves. Until the next time! We miss you

There was absolutely nothing I disliked about staying here other than I couldn't be there longer.

We had a lovely stay with Paul and Peggy. The rooms are comfortable and well presented. The garden and pool area is beautiful with stunning views over the valley. But the stand out aspect for us was how friendly and welcoming our hosts were and the FOOD!! Wow! Peggy is a terrific chef. So much of the lovely dishes we had were hand made by Peggy. A really wonderful place. We will be back!

Peggy and Paul were both so friendly, kind and welcoming . The view from the top bedroom was gorgeous. We highly recommend dining there, it is great value and Peggy's truly exquisite food , the presentation,, the lovely terrace dining and Paul's perfect hosting during dinner and his wine knowledge were exceptionally good.. The swimming pool was a real bonus on a hot day . Here you will find everything you need for a lovely stay in a stunning location..

We liked everything.

You will receive a warm welcome from the owners Paul and Peggy, and they are justifiably very proud of this fantastic property set in extensive, well maintained grounds with a pool. We were able to park our car right by the front gate and by the time we had sat down and had a beer and a glass of wine with them we felt very comfortable indeed. Our bedroom was on the first floor with views over the rear garden and it was very pleasant indeed and we slept well. Please do take the opportunity if you can to dine at the property, because with Peggy's cordon bleu cooking and Paul's knowledge of local wines I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Most of the ingredients, not only for the evening meal but also breakfast as well, are taken from their own garden, and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal together with another English couple who were staying there as well. The surrounding countryside is very pretty indeed and I would far rather stay at a friendly property like this than at a larger impersonal hotel in a larger town, and we would definitely stay with Paul and Peggy again given the opportunity.

Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations, Peggy and Paul made us so welcome we felt very pampered. The place is so pretty with beautiful gardens and lovely pool. Peggy made us a meal in the evening which was excellent and breakfast was also superb. Peggy is an excellent chef. Lots of home made delicacies etc. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. We wish we had stayed longer, and hope to return soon. Thank you so much Peggy and Paul.

Excellent choice of home produced and local products presented in a thoughtful and appetising way.

An excellent experience, nothing negative to say. Our hosts did all they could to make us welcome. The garden and views were lovely to relax in after a long journey from the south We found it a little difficult to find but some local people were really helpful. Clearer directions on the booking.com paperwork would help

We stayed with Peggy and Paul for an overnight stop whilst driving to the Dordogne in August. We could not have wished for a more perfect place to stay. We had two rooms (one for our sons and one for us). The rooms were spacious and so comfortable. Paul and Peggy met us on arrival and showed us around their beautiful property and invited us for a complimentary welcome drink. The grounds are breathtaking (we only wished that the weather had been kinder to us to take advantage of the outdoors). On the morning of the day we were due to arrive, we had a message from the hosts asking if we would like to take advantage of a home cooked 4 course meal; we are so pleased we did! Peggy had spent all day cooking (and even catered for the vegetarian within the family) and we have to say, this was the best meal we had during our two weeks in France. Peggy had used ingredients from the garden to produce a most fantastic meal and breakfast was equally as outstanding. We met a lovely couple from Belgium whilst we were there and it was great to swap stories with this delightful couple. If we are in this region again, we would not hesitate to stay here and we are even considering visiting this property again for a relaxing few nights break. We can't thank you enough Peggy & Paul!

It was all perfect

We stayed for a night whilst in the area. It was a beautiful property with amazing views. We were offered an upgrade & the room was stunning. Peggy & Paul were absolutely fantastic hosts & allowed us to feel completely relaxed whilst being very well looked after. Breakfast was also amazing with home produce & we will definitely come back. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

We booked the stay at fairly short notice having been let down earlier in the week by another planned host. We are so glad that this happened, as we were able to enjoy one of the most exceptional overnight stays we've ever had. Firstly, the hosts. Paul and Peggy are truly fantastic and offer a welcome and overall service that is truly incredible. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They took time to chat and get to know us and certainly made us feel like we were good friends. We were made to feel at ease and encouraged to use the pool and relax while Peggy provided ice cream as a treat. They had very kindly offered to provide us with an evening meal as we weren't sure if there was anything nearby and once again they exceeded all expectations with the most amazing cheese salad. Most of the ingredients had come from the garden, which Peggy hand picked that afternoon. After our meal Paul suggested we sit in the garden and enjoy the sunset, whilst handing us very comfortable loungers to relax in. He even gave me a cigar, which made the evening complete. The following morning's breakfast was an equal to the previous evening's meal. Homemade confiture, accompanied by the finest fruit, yoghurt, pastry and coffee. Our room was incredibly spacious located on the whole of the top floor, including the tower. Full of character and very comfortable. As we checked out, we said our goodbyes, but wished we could have stayed longer. There must be a next time surely. Merci beaucoup Paul et Peggy. Vous êtes fantastique!!!!
