The family who run the business are so welcoming and accommodating. It's ike home from home. We came to do work on our house in the area and unfortunately had problems with our car and had a lot of travelling up and down but they were very understanding of our delay. We will be back I'm sure.

We received a very friendly welcome from the hosts. The rooms are well decorated, warm and very comfortable. There was a little private seating area where we could enjoy a hot drink, as kettle and tea & coffee is provided. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. We had an evening meal, and that was superb, delicious and very filling.

Extremely friendly and welcoming to us on arrival and even offered a beer which we eagerly accepted. We had a golden retriever which she also welcomed and pointed out many close by walks as well as a section of her garden for night time toilet duties. Gave advice on nearby eateries one of which was perfect. The accommodation was a typical of French house for dark wood and marble floors downstairs and wood floors upstairs. The bedroom was spacious with plenty of room for the dog bed. Tea and coffee in the room plus bottled water. The included breakfast was served in a dining room very smarty dressed table with touches of art deco. Full range of breads and croissants, juices and yogurts, cerials, teas, infusions and coffee, cheeses, ham and fresh fruits as much as you liked. Full of character and an interesting property.

The double bed although very smartly presented was a little tired and perhaps the mattress could do with updating.

The hosts could not be more welcoming nor more helpful in making this a relaxed stay, we would thoroughly recommend it, our fog was also very welcome which was much appreciated

Nothing to dislike at all

Breakfast as always amazing……plenty of fresh fruit bread croissants jams cheese ham cereals and even fresh coffee pods to use with machine it is by far the best breakfast anywhere

Very friendly welcome from Liz. Great stop on our way to Cherbourg, a beautiful meal at a restaurant a few minutes walk away. Lovely comfortable room and dog friendly too.

Stayed here several times… Perfect host always a warm welcome asks on arrival if you want a drink anything to eat etc Gives access to facilities to make a drink etc Always on hand but stays at a distant so you feel the place is yours

I got a great welcome from very first time they opened their front door, we enjoyed the friendly approach 😀 👍 that I got from the first night of our enjoyable stay, Ideal response with their language in either English or French.. as I myself a bit rusty on d French" I will surely me and my partner be calling n booking time here at the Sunset House' thank you..

Very pleasant host (Liz) expectionally clean rooms, with very comfortable bedrooms. Spacious private sitting area and large bathroom. Secure parking for a couple of motorbikes, good supermarket, restaurant, fuel etc in small rural town centre.

Having to leave and then trying to find somewhere as good!
