The hotel is very good, excellent breakfast (paid separately), kind staff. The location is at the top of the city, just a few steps from the viewpoint where you can see a wonderful sunset and where tourists flock to see the city from the top of the cliffs, the parking lots nearby are always full. There is exclusive parking at the hotel for guests. Super close to the center of the upper city, where there are several shops and restaurants. But getting to the lower town (where the marina and more shops and restaurants are) is far and tiring due to the hills and stairs. The ideal is to rent a car (although there are few parking lots in the city), as we discovered when we got there that there are only 8 taxis in the city, making it impossible to get one, in addition to being super expensive (more expensive than the daily rental of 1 car ).

There was no minibar in the rooms, we couldn't even have ice water in heat of almost 40 degrees Celsius.

We had a truly gorgeous stay at elegant Hotel Santateresa. Spectacular location with glorious views of Bonifacio’s stunning limestone cliffs and across to Sardinia, and just a short stroll into the charming old town. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with places to relax and enjoy the ambience. Our suite was quite spacious, very stylish and comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking the old town, as well as views of the sea and cliffs. Amazing! The staff were incredibly welcoming, gracious and helpful - arranging taxis, beach towels etc. The hotel breakfast buffet was superb, offering a range of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cheese and charcuterie, breads, pastries and cake, omelettes to order, coffee etc. A free car park on the property was so convenient. Great to have an elevator too. Overall, a simply wonderful place to stay.

While the bathroom was attractive and roomy, the shower arrangement was awkward - having to step into the bath and try to manage the shower nozzle, which kept falling off its fitting. Quite a confined shower space.

Location was fantastic to explore old town. Free parking. Amazing views. Staff was friendly. Free baby cot. Nice breakfast buffet for 19 euros. 5 min walk to old Town and 20 min down the hill to the marina.

A little too warm for easy sleep (our AC didn’t seem to work well at night). The sink in our room was odd and splashed water all over, but you just needed to be careful to not make a mess. No real toiletries in the room. Mini fridge was tiny - enough for only a couple of waters. Coffee was instant packets (just fyi, it tasted fine and there was a coffee machine down at the breakfast buffet with lots of options)

The hotel is situated in a lovely position - our room looked south across the sea to Sardinia. Easy to walk to the old town, which was very atmospheric, with a good choice of restaurants. Also, there is an interesting walk from the hotel, around the peninsula headland with an above ground cemetery set within the centre. The room, despite being on the smallish side, was very clean with enough storage. The bathroom was large, with some luxury touches. The staff on reception were warm and welcoming, offering helpful information. Equally the staff at the breakfast were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice and the food was high quality. Plenty of secure parking. Overall, excellent value.

V little. Personally we didn’t like that the toilet door is on a sliding mechanism but if you enjoy hearing one another going to the loo, then you’ll be fine!

Our room was one of the smaller ones, but was nice and had a great view of the sea. We enjoyed the balcony. The shower pressure was excellent. We slept well. The hotel was in a great location, a short walk from the old town centre. The breakfast was really good (although unfortunately we weren’t aware they make cooked eggs or omelettes until we’d filled up on cakes, bread and fruit). We also had a room service cheese and charcuterie platter which was quite good value.

There was no minibar in the room. It was quite hot during the day so we had to buy all our drinks and drink them immediately in order for them to be chilled. Couldn’t have chilled water during the night. First hotel we’ve ever stayed at where there was no minibar in the room. It’s a standard inclusion, regardless of room size, so wasn’t expecting that. Can only assume hotel was wanting us to buy all our drinks from them. We were there 4 nights so not happy about that.

Excellent hotel with lovely views. Well located only a short walk to the old town, and about half an hour to the harbour. The hotel itself was super clean and the room was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and a particular thank you to David who arranged a taxi for us and showed us the best route to walk to the harbour. Being a little outside of the town meant it was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend.

The Santateresa Hotel is located 5 minutes by foot from the old town and a 3 minute walk to the Marine Cemetary. Which is very nice to avoid all the crowds. In high season there are swarms of people and a difficult parking situation in town. This is why I booked the Stantateresa due to their free parking lot. The staff was extremley friendly and very professional. We had a superior room with a balcony with a bonbastic view of the sea. The breakfast was copious and delicious. The lively port is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel and you may get lucky to get a taxi back home.

Excellent location for watching sunset. Interior well-designed. Free carpark and it is easy to park. 10 min walk downhill to town centre and 20 min to port. Please note that the hotel is right next to the marine cemetery.

The bathtub, though comfortable to lie in, is difficult to get out because there is no handrail for support. The bathtub shower only has a half plastic screen which is not fixed. Hence, it is very easy for water to wet the floor. Fairly expensive and needs to be paid and nonrefundable a month before arrival.

Excellent location - the staff were wonderful and welcoming - made our stay very enjoyable and went out of their way to accommodate all requets. Will stay there again.

The arrangement to get from the ferry to the hotel was not clear and eventually we, and everyone else on the Ferry walked / climbed up to the old town and walked to the hotel carrying bags etc - would have been very challenging for older / less fit people - perhaps on booking a note explaining the process and any suggestions for challenged people would have been useful..

Room is clean. Spacious toilet. Superb view. Big carpark. The hotel is almost the end of the cliff, but it has the best view, quiet and calm. You can even have chance to see the sunset from your room. But no worry, it is very near to the sunset view point where lots of ppl purposely drive there to see. The breakfast is super great and variety. We really enjoy the stay! This hotel reminded me the stay in Santorini as you open your balcony and see the calm ocean.
