Great location. Wonderfully renovated Art Deco hotel. Lovely staff. Room size ok and comfy bed. Clean and recently decorated.

No air con or fans so very hot. We were in a back room so had to have windows open for air but got the noise of the kitchen fans and despite being on fifth floor the noise of the music from cellar was constant until it finished.

It's a nice place, extremely well located . The hotel has a quaint style that we loved, but it comes with its drawbacks. The rooms for one person are a bit small, but one we had for a couple was better. Also, don't expect the card key, it's still the good old iron key here, and that's cool !

We stayed while the whole downtown area is undergoing road works. A tramway line is being installed, so walking around the hotel was not extremely pleasant. However, there was no sound coming from the construction site to our room.

The hotel has a charm like Hotel Budapest . Lovely breakfast and good cofee , very clean and stilish but rather old style . Staff were very helpful , parking we were able to find outside , since we were coming after 8 pm otherwise it is payable from 9 till 7 pm I think . Recommend . Ps. Music choice for breakfast was great ,jazz . Next for restaurant fab and lots of options for dinner and cofee in the area. Thank you

Perfect location, excellent value for money, very friendly staff who speak English, very clean, very comfortable beds, good food in the restaurant also!

Soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great, but wasn't terrible either. That's only a minor issue though, everything else was excellent.

It's a simple hotel with old-fashioned decor, but it has everything you'd expect from a 3 star. The room was spacious and clean and quite comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like was the noisy cleaners. One of the ladies was very loud on the phone and very abrupt with her cars so it was banging on the walls and doors. The walls are thin alredy, so that didn't help.

The noise from other guests could be all heard through the walls. No sound insulation. There was no fridge or coffee/tea facilities in the room

The location was central The staff were very helpful and friendly The room was a very good size I would recommend the Vauban to anyone visiting Brest in France

The only thing I can complain about is that the floor of the shower was very slippery it needs a mat

The Vauban cabaret which is located in the basement of the hotel, just need to take the elevator and cross the bar to get there.

Checkout at 11am, too early for those who partied at the cabaret.

Traffic and parking difficult due to infrastructure project in Brest. Hotel room decor! OK if you’re Scottish!

Just the room it’s without AC, that wasn’t a problem, but take in consideration if you are traveling in a hot climate.
