This was a mid point destination for us on our drive home, it was more than we could have hoped for as far as hospitality. The staff were so very welcoming and friendly. We traveled with our pet and he was also made to feel very welcomed, such a nice change after being in Spain where pets are tolerated but not allowed anywhere public. The rooms were unique, very well appointed and comfortable. Wonderful soaps and tea/coffee available. Reg restaurant served a buffet dinner that was excellent and very abundant.

Comfortable bed, nice bed linen, roomy bathroom. Kettle and tea and coffee, china cups provided Lots of storage for bags. 10 minutes walk into the old town. Plenty of food shops and a great bakery/cafe nearby. Friendly staff Good restaurant on site. The food was nicely cooked and presented, we loved all the salad starters. Not far off the motorway, so great for a night when travelling.

The hairdryer was difficult to use, as you have to keep the button on the handle pressed down hard all the time or it stops The buffet restaurant was a reasonable price,but once you add the cost of the drinks it soon adds up.

Booked this lovely little place very last minute as we were driving through and needed somewhere to stay for the night. What a gem! Lovely evening buffet, well attended by the locals also. Room was small but so well decorated with great attention to detail. Lovely shower. Breakfast was good, too!

It seemed to make it the best place to eat with some atmosphere in the town The receptionist speaks excellent English and very welcoming and helpful I was cycle touring and had a test day here. As a stopover it was unexpectedly good Good breakfast too and decent air conditioning

we liked absolutely everything comfortable bed, good linen, fresh bathroom, parking but mostly the stuff and the owner were incredible - at midnight when we entered they smiled checked up quickly gave my dog a surprise snack (❤️) and we were able to take a glass of wine! without doubts if we pass second time there we will stay with them

Nice big comfortable family room. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Nice breakfast in the morning with a good selection. The price was reasonable for a family room.

The shower wasn't great as it was in a bathtub with a shower head but there wasn't an attachment on the wall to hold the shower head.

The owner has a unique formula for his guests! A buffet dinner which he claims is “French”. Not certain?! A v nice location outside the town! Liked the jazz music and the owner’s great daughter!

A little out of town. Did not like the French buffet! Prefer a wonderful French dinner!

Very nice hotel in a quiet place, bed is comfortable, the room is clean and the air conditioner works well. Overall it's a very nice hotel with helpful staff. I would come back again if can.

Very pleasantly surprised! Building is old but the rooms are newly renovated. Clean and wonderful staff. We also really like the dinner buffet service: it’s a good value.

Maybe because it’s newly renovated, it has some kinks to figure out. The shower has 2 output: one on the ceiling and one is handheld, which was great, but there’s no covering for the shower and water leaks out of the bathroom. secondly, the sliding door and window of the bathroom is too transparent. we are 3 friends staying together and it’s awkward to see so much while one is using the toilet.
