The staff were absolutely lovely. They were chatty and very efficient, they couldn't do enough for us to be honest. The room had all the basics an even though the hotel is on one of the main roads into Carentan it was quiet even with the window open.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and I would have rated it higher other than the fact that the whole hotel was very dated and really needs a face lift. We had a late breakfast and some things had run out especially at the end of our stay when the hotel was busier so this wasn't providing the same level of service to all customers as we had to go without some things. The hotel is on the outskirts of the town which was fine for us as we were able to walk the 2 miles but it may not be suitable for other people.

The caring staff, the close and beautiful location, and it was simply a joy to sit outside and enjoy both the quiet and calm breeze. The locality to hallowed ground of D-Day and the rich history that’s still appreciated there make this a must stop. The staff were top notch in their care of me and my family. They all spoke multiple languages which helped ease any difficulties and they live in the town and were experts of the history. The rooms were well appointed and maintained. For my family of 3 easily. There are so many positives that staying anywhere else will never be a consideration for me.

It was a good location, not to far from the Museums, the Ocean and all the important places, regarding the WW2. It was very quiet and we had a nice room.

We were a little bit disappointed by the fact that the Staff was very bad at English. In fact, in all Carentan we found few People that spoked English. Or maybe they do not want to. But for a City with such History and with a lot of USA and Great Britain flags, I think it's a bit disrespectful.

The location was close to the train station and relatively close to St Mere Eglise which is where we started our D-Day tour. The staff was very friendly and very responsive via email. We only stayed one night and it was what we needed for our trip.

I must have missed the notification, but the restaurant in the hotel was closed on Tuesday. But we found Oncle Scott’s within walking distance to the hotel.

It was a very spacious room with a big bathroom. We think it was designed for handicapped people. We had expected two separate oneperson beds, but it was 1 twopersons-bed and 1 oneperson-bed. It took a while to get used to the room, but in the end we decided it was a good room.

The man at the reception seemed surprised with our question if there was no other room with two 1-personbeds. In his opnion, our wish for "separate beds" was met with this room.

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but we had a great stay - friendly and very helpful staff; convenient and enjoyable on-site restaurant; a good sized room that has had a modern re-fit. We were able to store and secure our bicycles in the reception area

The whole facility was very nice and the reception staff very pleasant. The Scottish lady in the bar, Fiona, was very attentive, the only English speaking member of staff I met and very pleasant to chat with. Evening meal was excellent.

I would have preferred a walk in shower, rather than a bathtub with shower attachment. I would have liked a location reference to enter into my sat nav.

Friendly staff let us store our bicycles inside the hotel. Evening meal was excellent. Table Tennis table on patio great for bonding with other guests. Staff fantastic. Good shower and spacious room.

Location is about 2km from town centre.

Very well located, all staff was so homecoming and nice. Only thing was the bedding and room which was so hot, no air conditioning, you may ask for extra pillows also. Overall fine photo stay, will go back.

Very handy if you want to go to the D Day beaches and Sainte Mere Eglise and Bayeux! Extremely friendly, bilingual staff, very knowledgeable of the area.
