Lovely B&B in a quiet location. Very friendly host, I enjoyed the time chatting. Good breakfast selection, with plenty of fresh coffee. Access to a terrace with furniture to sit out in the evening, and to a garden to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area. Convenient parking. Located a short way from a small village, but no restaurants nearby.

Nothing, everything was fine for my stay.

The breakfast was of the 'continental' type. There was a good selection of fresh cereals, pastries and fruit. There was also a plentiful supply of good coffee and other hot beverages.

I sometimes prefer a cooked breakfast, or other hot alternatives, but that's not an issue provided the quantity is sufficient. It certainly was during my stay.

It was a room with 2 beds not very comfortable and bed clothes were too small. Host should be a bit more forgiving.

Wished we read reviews as clearly the same bathroom issues we had have been going on since 2020, including issues with TV we was told no TV due to recent storm but reading reviews it was over 2 years ago and still not available. Should be removed from facilities listed. Our bathroom was absolutely awful, there's a crack in the base of the shower tray seen in pictures that clearly just had mastic put over it, the water didn't drain away. The shower cubicle was clearly just wedged in and tried to cover up with wallpaper as in pictures the stabiliser rod had actually pierced the other wall. The glass block grouting was covered in black mold. Worse of all was that the previous people staying had left all the bins full of stuff including diabetes equipment and when mentioned this that our room bins hadn't been emptied there was no applology given just a shrug so we left without even bothering with breakfast. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Far from professional behaviour when she slagged of a wedding party due in on the Friday because they asked to arrive early and if they could accommodate an extra guest. Felt sorry for those next guests trying to get ready for a wedding in this place, I hope they do manage to sell up as she wants because it needs a complete gutting to bring it up to a basic level of cleanliness.
