Beautiful buffet spread with everything you could possibly need and a really good coffee machine. Amelie even provided home made treats and the bread and breakfast pastries from the nearby Boulangerie were excellent. All the facilities were excellent, our room and bathroom were very spacious and the minibar was thoughtfully stocked. There is even a water bottle refill point. Great little pool with towels provided. Nothing was too much trouble and if you were having any problems (our hire car had a problem) Amelie helped out with language support and stayed with you until the problem was resolved even though she was busy. Amelie and Francois made us feel like house guests rather than hotel guests. We can’t recommend this hotel too much if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Vendee. Exceptional indeed !!

The owners were very lovely and helpful and gave us lots of information on restaurants and places to visit. The tree outside of our bedroom window smelt fantastic. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay.

If we were to be picky we would say that our bed was a little small, a bit too hard and the pillows were not that comfortable. We should really have asked to change and I am sure this would have been allowed, but it was our mistake not to ask.

The hosts could not if been more charming and helpful, Sadly i had to be near the hospital for treatment in Challons. Being on my own with no-one to support me felt quite lonely. The hosts at the hotel soon made me feel at home and could not of been kinder.

Enjoyed everything about our stay. Breakfast was excellent and good location. Everyone extremely friendly and very helpful. Very pleasant and relaxing stay.
