It’s an amazing house and huge care has been taken to create a beautiful and comfortable Chambre d’hote. The room was delightful, the facilities excellent and the bed soooooo comfy! We were invited to use the pool and swimming towels were provided. An excellent overnight stay.

This is being very picky, but there’s nothing on the gate to show you’ve arrived at the right place - but be confident as there aren’t any other properties in that area that look like it! Drive in and the main door is on the left!

A large gracious house, beautifully restored with great attention to detail in the decor. Secure off road parking and a quiet outdoor garden pool providing a peaceful setting for an overnight stop on our journey. Our host served a very generous continental breakfast with choice of preserves and breads.

The town was of little merit with just one restaurant serving good local regional food though it was a bit eccentric!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived Dominic offered us a cold beer which was a nice touch. Really nice room (including tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water) and the decorations in the house were beautifully done. Breakfast was good and plentiful and they packaged up the spare croissants for our long onward journey without us asking!

Not many places to eat nearby but Dominic gave us a tip about a good take away pizza place.

The property was the perfect location for our overnight stay, the rooms are beautiful, the pool is a lovely extra. The owner was the perfect host and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. We had a nice meal at a bar a 5 minutes walk from the property and the bar in the square is worth a visit.

The hosts were lovely and the rooms were great as well.

We were there for four nights and they should have cleaned, emptied the garbage and changed the towels after a couple of days. Maybe a bit more shampoo would have been nice.

Breakfast was amazing . Typically French with the addition of the best homemade yoghurt we have ever tasted . Dominique and Sandrine were very attentive when needed but left you to your own devices . Just how we like it. The rooms were fabulous . Beautifully decorated but comfortable too .

Cannot fault the chambre d’ hote . The only down side was the local restaurants . One closed as we got there and did not reopen despite saying it would open in 1 hour and the other was cheap frozen food and not very pleasant . However the portage dew sauveurs was very nice

Spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated family room, excellent breakfast, refreshing pool, friendly host, parking onsite.

There are not a lot of opportunities for eating nearby. One restaurant told us they no longer serve food due to staff shortages, two other options were mediocre so we settled for an average decent option just a few minutes away. For us this was no issue since we were on a short stop-over. Another small detail is that the playground, as advertised on the site, was not there (or at least not shown to us).

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely pool area. Everything felt clean and fresh and the rooms were beautifully designed. Homemade yoghurt at breakfast was great and thank you for the tip off about visiting Espace Hermeline which was a brilliant place to spend a baking hot day.

No negatives, would highly recommend.

We've returned to this lovely hotel because our first visit was wonderful. And we were not disappointed, the same care attention from Dominic and Sandrine. Sandrine made lovely homemade pancakes at breakfast along with a great variety of pastries, breads, fruits and homemade jams and yoghurt. Out bedroom was beautiful, too. We will be taking our family to stay when they come to stay with us in France.

The time went too fast...

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Dominic and Sandrine, warm, considerate and informative. Our room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and again the breakfast room was a lovely place to eat. The atmosphere was calm and our hosts couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good stay. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can.
