The owners went over and beyond to make our stay a superb experience. Thank you. We will certainly look to stay here again in the future.

It’s 2.3km from the town and taxis are impossible to get for that distance I’m cycling and had done 150km to get there so had to walk 5km return to get dinner

beds were comfy location was useful nice grounds to walk the dogs secure access 24/7 (access via code even when reception manned)

had 2 calls within 20 minutes because our dogs were supposedly annoying other residents. didn't hear the 1st call, but returned within 5 mins of the 2nd, to hear 1 bark in 5 minutes. Call from reception was longwinded and threatening to throw us out! The employee was not listening to my confirmation of our immediate return, which was most infuritating - Husband then stayed behind, whilst I returned to finish food shopping (as no meal possible at the hotel's restaurant in the evening) bottled water expensive (small €3,50 large €5,00) Spent the night in apprehension of dogs - or us - making the slightest sound !! By the way ... in 14 years, we've never had an issue taking our dogs to a supposedly dog-friendly hotel (who would expect some barking during an owner's brief absence) - not our best introduction to the area !!!! not even bins available for dog mess (although reception offered to deal with the bags) breakfast very limited and expensive for what was available - no key foods like strawberry jam, ham, baguette or hot food (in spite of hot plates being on display, other than some dry-looking hotdogs - for breakfast !!) tables were slow to be cleared - staff came in, looked around but didn't do anything
