Lovely, super kind hosts and gentle, sweet dog. We had a cozy, quiet night's stay. We were warmly welcomed just a bit before the check-in deadline, we were offered tea and coffee and asked what time we wanted breakfast the following morning. We felt very accommodated by Hazel and Jay. The fireplace area was gorgeous. Everything was very clean and so nicely decorated. The rugs, furniture, and details were all so pretty. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast options were perfect. Needless to say, we were very happy to have chosen this bed and breakfast.

We would have liked if the checkout time was at noon instead since the bed was incredibly comfortable 🙈

Wonderful stay in an amazing location with such friendly English hosts Jay and Hazel. In fact, Jay messaged us some few days before to say all the restaurants in town were closed on our night and did we want him to book the only one that was open......spoiler alert.....you must go by Jays recommendation, the food was the best of our trip by far :) Being bikers, we were allowed to park in the hotel's secure garage which is always a relief. The room, shower and beds, spotlessly clean, and the view from the window to the castle and the 'beauty and the beast' Disney-like village, is simply superb.

Excellent accomodation in a perfect situation in the beautiful village. The bedroom was exquisitely furnished with a very impressive shower. Breakfast was lovely with home made jams and fruit freshly picked from the garden. Hazel and Jay (along with the lovely Victor) made the stay here most welcoming.

Access to the property is very tight for anyone with reduced mobility...but it didn't spoil the experience of the stay at this delightful property

This was a truly memorable experience! Jay and Hazel are wonderful hosts, more like staying with friends. Everything was beautifully thought out, from the comfy beds and tasteful decor to the striking breakfast setup and lovely rain shower. The location is right in the historic part of town. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Thank you so much!

Very warm welcome from the (English) hosts while their lovely dog, Victor, made our 2 dogs feel very at home. Lovely picturesque Limousin village - worth spending more time to explore we felt. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and a decent cup of tea.

Out of season the restaurants in the village are closed. (There is a table d'hotes option provided by the hosts.)

I absolutely loved how cozy it was and the owners were the loveliest hosts. Very comfortable bed and delicious homemade jams for breakfast! Everything was perfect, we will definitely come back &/ recommend to our friends and family.

Great breakfast with homemade Jams. Nice selection of food, tea, coffee and water available all of the time at no extra cost. Hazel and Jay were very warm, friendly, flexible, helpful and attentive, helping out with restaurant bookings, washing and anything else we asked for. Victor the Dog is very easy going and accepted our dog without complaint.

Room was a bit small and as it was in lower ground floor it was difficult to dry towels clothes etc. (Fresh towels were provided without question). The room was a bit humid and warm making sleeping difficult. The room might benefit from air con or maybe a dehumidifier.

Beautiful building, lovingly restored in a prime location with a view of the old castle. Such a warm welcome from Jay & Hazel who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Such a calm, relaxing vibe. Loved it. (Small thing but it was brilliant having good towels! Thank you!)

I cannot think of enough nice things to say about Jay and Hazel and their lovely B&B. We booked at the last minute and they accepted and accommodated us immediately. The room was perfect, the bathroom was nice and newly renovated with an amazing shower. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was so serene and quiet. We were there for two nights and the breakfast each morning was the perfect addition. I’m vegan and when Hazel found out she went to the store and picked up extra items so I could enjoy a full and delicious breakfast as well. We also had a wedding and Jay very nicely offered to iron our wrinkly clothes for us which was so great of him. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a beautiful village, great people, and amazing comfort!
