We had the most fantastic stay. Patrick and Raphael are the most amazing, kind and attentive hosts. The food was exceptional and the setting is stunning. The rooms are beautiful with lovely gardens and a gorgeous pool. Would 100% recommend for a relaxing stay. Thanks also to Patrick for his great insight on the local area and recommendations for things to do. La Brugere is in a great location for exploring the Périgord. We look forward to visiting again. 10/10

Amazing property - beautiful - steeped in history ( fascinating) & so lovingly restored! Absolutely charming hosts who bent over backwards to ensure our stay was perfect! Raphael produced a fabulous 3 course dinner & lovely breakfast which Patrick served on the terrace with lovely views across the garden. It was a special part of our holiday - a shame we couldn’t stay longer!

Absolutely nothing not to like!

Patrick and Raphael are amazing hosts. We were beautifully welcomed to the Domaine from Patrick with a lovely drink and chatted a bit! The place is surrounded by beautiful trees and a lovely stream! We absolutely loved the art and the style of the house and we liked the decor of our room too..The hosts are doing an amazing job with La brugere and we will come back!! Thank you guys

We loved everything

A magical stay. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, the most most wonderfully spacious room with stunning views of the garden. The hosts were incredibly attentive and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast was wonderful and the evening meals were some of the tastiest food we’ve had in ages. All in all one of the best stays we’ve ever had anywhere. Highly recommended.

Everything was wonderful

Everything. The property is simply to die for, tastefully finished and a true labour of love. It feels like a home away from home. This is type of place you want everyone to experience but also secretly and selfishly want to keep it yourself. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂. Planning to visit with my mother to share some of that joy with her and a cycling trip with friends ending up back here.

Nothing. I honestly loved everything about it.

What a fabulous place! If you ever wanted to stay in high french style, this is it. A fantastic chateau with period furniture and quirky touches. Just a short drive from beautiful villages and caverns. Lovely pool and fabulous terrace. We loved the chateaus own honey at sumptuous breakfast and the beautiful dinner cooked with local produce. A stand out of our European tour. Recommended.

We loved Le Domaine -l'armonie et la convivialite, la beaute paisible and the french "je ne sais quoi", l'armonie sans etre carree... Great attention aux details. Raphael's dinner and Patrik's philosophy invited us to reconsider social values and peoples histories whilst tasting "ravissants" eclectic "gouts". Challenge of 3 senses: gout, emotions and knowledge. Que voulez-vous de plus in a beautiful French "demeure a caractere"... ? Merci beaucoup Patrik&Raphael pour tout...encore plus pour les etoiles et la bougie 😉

We stayed a week at La Brugere. The house was genuinely idyllic, with a dreamy and peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by its beautiful gardens and dramatic woodland, it was immediately calming and arresting- with the only sounds birds, the water turning through the mill and the river lapping by. The large pool was amazing, breakfast and dinners (by arrangement) superb and Patrick and Raphael charming and welcoming hosts with so much good advice and help organising trips/meals. Room 21 was beautiful, large with lovely views and the hosts did a daily turn down service.
