Anne was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was great and there was fresh made orange juice :) and Anne was always attentive not to let miss anything for her guests and to keep clean. We were very impressed how fast she worked to supply everything in the breakfast room. Definitely Anna deserves a high score than she has! She is a super woman lady :)

What a lovely hotel. It was easy to find and had free parking outside. My wife is a wheelchair user so we had requested the disabled room. This was on the ground floor and close to the breakfast room. The room was very comfortable and had an excellent customised bathroom. The continental breakfast was very nice. There was plenty of choice. It was self-service and available for several hours so there was no rush. Next to the hotel is the restaurant La Sicilia which was really good. We only stayed for one night as we were travelling from the south to Calais. It is a pity that we were not able to stay for longer!

The host was very friendly and helpful finding us a restaurant on the night the opposite restaurant was closed. On Sunday many restaurants are closed so itwas quite challenging finding a place. Surroundings are lovely-the loire is within walking distance and the little village has a nice feel to it. Breakfast was very fresh-simple but it felt ‘cosy like a french kitchen area’ with coffee, fruit and fresh bread cheeses and yoghurts.

The rooms are a bit small so more than one night might be less comfortable

Easy to find, free parking ( lots of spaces), reception was so welcoming , friendly and offered so much help. Room was large enough for our overnight stay, the shower height was great for tall guests ( odd comment but when you are tall it’s great to be able to stand up in a shower). Breakfast was conitentsl and good choice . I know it is only rated 2* but the service was 5*. Highly recommended and fantastic value

I knew when booked there was no air conditioning which if installed would make the stay even more comfortable.

Le Dauphin offers an exceptionally warm welcome and a lovely atmosphere. The room we had was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional. Anne is a really thoughtful host, who offered to help store our bikes securely. She speaks both French and English fluently. We were so comfortable that we decided to stay two nights to relax.

Excellent communication throughout from Anne and she organised our late arrival and restaurant booking. Everything was seamless. Lovely room, exceptionally clean, and a generous buffet breakfast. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

We’ve stayed before and know that it’s a straightforward simple hotel that gives us everything that we need for an en route overnight. Coco the Spaniel is happy too!

On arrival greeted by the owner. Easy booking , Very helpful as i had to change dates a few days before . Close to town centre. Beautiful town. Great breakfast and so relaxed. Lovely walks along the river

Really smart hotel, tidy and clean. Owner very helpful as we arrived on national holiday. She directed us to best place to eat and put a bottle of wine in our room. Breakfast was excellent.

Everything was good.

Friendly reception, happy to store my bicycle, clean comfortable room, plenty of hot water (there was a bath which was lovely after a long day cycling). Crisp linens, well thought out room.
