Everything was wonderful! A stunning property both inside and out - nicely decorated, and clean. The terrace and pool overlooking a view across the countryside and hills in the distance was a spectacular place to cool off after a day of exploring. David and Jeanette were so kind and helpful. David helped us with our bags and the parking for our car was very close by. Local recommendations were provided too. Breakfast was delicious and David was also able to make us a cocktail to enjoy by the pool. Simply one of those places you are sad to leave, and just wish you had known sooner to add another night there to your itinerary.

This is a wonderful old house that I can describe best as shabby elegance. It’s a throwback to a bygone era, yet modern in its amenities. The service is warm and beyond expectations. We felt right at home. We enjoyed our large room and especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace with chilled wine. Parking is off-site and free.

Chateauneuf-de-Gagne is a good location if you have a car and want to make day-trips. It’s an easy drive to St Remy and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Avignon is close, but a bit longer drive. The hotel offers a respite from a busy day. However, dining options are limited. There is one restaurant, which is quite good, a short walk from the hotel.

David and Janet were very warm, delightful and hospitable hosts! David helped us with parking (the streets that lead to the house are very narrow!), handling our bags, served us at breakfast and assisted with our itinerary. Janet made breakfast which included fresh pastries, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and scrumptious salmon quiche. (different surprise each morning) Smelling the fresh pastries as I woke up in the morning made me feel warm inside! Enjoying the sunrise and the moonlit sky from our room was an added bonus! We were a short drive from Pont du Gard and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We highly recommend Le Petit Chateau.

The only thing I missed was an evening tea (common space to relax in the evening). I believe the kitchen was closed although I forgot to ask. It's also their private residence so it is understandable that it would be. I survived!

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Petit Chateau. The entire stay was incredibly relaxing. Our host David went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely break, introducing us to a delicious local wine and olives. The character of the property was truly beautiful, with stunning views and a lovely pool area. Breakfast was amazing which set a great start to our trip. We also enjoyed the proximity to the charming town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

Beautiful little B&B centrally located to explore the Vaucluse. David and Jeanette were great hosts and helped plan excursions. Plentiful breakfast and a nice bar to relax in. Several excellent restaurants within a short walk.

No on- site parking but a free lot nearby. Beware there are a lot of stairs so not disability friendly.

The town is terrific with 2 fantastic restaurants all walkable from Le Petit Chateau. The hotel is lovely and the proprietors are wonderful. Breakfast was exceptional, too.

The hotel is very difficult to find on Google Maps. Our bedroom was in the attic with limited natural daylight. I am not sure we knew this in advance.

I absolutely loved staying at Le Petit Château, it was like a dream! I didn't want to leave, so much so that I stayed an extra night despite having booked a hotel in Avignon and couldn't recover the money back. But it was worth it. Also the hosts were amazing and super warm, I felt like I was at home! They offered to give me free lifts and we're just responsive. I came for a friend's wedding nearby, and would 100% love to come back soon. I loved sitting on the terrace at night stargazing; it was so peaceful. And in the day the setting is beautiful and dreamy too. The experience was beautiful and just made all my worries and thoughts disappear while I was there. So if you need to get away, de-stress and rejuvenate somewhere peaceful and beautiful, this is the place. Would definitely recommend.

It was a bit pricey, but expected for what it was I guess!

We had a beautiful room in this wonderful old chateau. The village is in a great position for visiting all the main attractions of Provence. David and Jeanette were lovely, kind hosts and gave us lots of good suggestions of things to see. After long days sightseeing it was great to return to a spacious and bright room with comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom & shower! The village has a good bakery and excellent wine/tapas bar (Stephane & Janique); and nearby l ‘Isle sur-la-Sorgue has some good restaurants.

Le Perite Chateau was stunning! A beautiful place with breath taking views. Everything was charming and quintessentially French. David and Janet were so friendly and helpful. Janet’s freshly cooked breakfast items were a real highlight. Would love to visit again!

Super nice hosts, they did everything to make my stay comfortable, with tipps for the closer area, with preparing breakfast for me on a special hour, helping out for a ride to a venue, when there was shortage of time and transport, and being nice and caring all the time. always again and recommendable times 100!
