It is beautiful and clearly much loved place. Every detail of it is pleasing. The location cannot be more perfect, right in the center of the old walled city yet secluded and very private and quiet. The gracious hosts welcome you to their marvelous home with warmth and attention to detail, and take care of your every whim, practically reading your mind. We felt that we were completely taken care of from great restaurant suggestions and reservations to daily plan of the day trips and what to do and see during each one. This a beautiful place and we loved our stay!

Beautifully renovated house turned hotel in the old city of Avignon. Lovely hosts and a good breakfast to start the day off right. they also have a garden which is gorgeous. I wish I'd spent more time there. very beautiful.

there was only one thing I didn't like: in our room (but not the others) there were portraits hanging and the eyes seemed to follow me wherever I was. It didn't bother my husband at all, but it made me uncomfortable. If you think it might make you uncomfortable, ask about another room. The hotel is lovely and this should not deter you!

Le Clos Saluces far exceeded our expectations, it was so conveniently located (just minutes away from the city centre by foot), the room was immaculate and spacious, and the hosts Benoit and Jacques were very kind, accommodating and helpful (i.e. they recommended the best restaurants and shops, and helped us with many bookings)! We loved every single aspect of the bed and breakfast, from the dreamy garden and outdoor lounge area to the kitchen and living room, which were carefully curated and decorated to perfection. It honestly felt like we were walking through a Vogue living magazine! This was hands down our favourite accomodation during our whole South of France trip (and because of Le Clos Saluces, my mum and I voted that Avignon was our favourite place we stayed at). We will definitely be back again and would love to stay for longer next time. Merci beaucoup Jacques et Benoit!

Peaceful, quiet space walking distance to markets, shops, the Palais Des Papes, museums and more. But the best part was how friendly and helpful both Jacques and Benoit are! They’ll guide your stay—from giving you ideas of the best places to see, where to avoid, helpful suggestions of restaurants and even making reservations for you. And Benoit’s cakes are a great way to start your morning. Can’t say enough about how welcomed we felt and what good care they took of us.

Jacques and Benoit run an amazing property and go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your time in Avignon. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, with large rooms, comfortable bedding, and proper air conditioning. As the other reviewers have stated, Jacques and Benoit are the best hosts. They were overly generous with their time and a tremendous help to me throughout my stay.

Nothing. The property location is on a narrow corridor so it is difficult for automotive transport and ubers to reach it, but that's par for the course within the Avignon city walls. Be aware of that and look forward to the exercise.

Le Clos Saluces was one of the best places we have ever stayed, if not the best. The house is immaculate with amazing attention to detail. The before and after renovation pictures show what an unbelievable job Jacques and Benoit, who were such kind and thoughtful hosts, have done. The location is perfect right in the centre of Old Avignon and a 10 minute taxi ride from Avignon TGV.

The property is a stunning French villa that is beautifully decorated & has a very pretty garden. It is also in a great location within walking distance to all the attractions. The lovely hosts Benoit & Jacques went out of their way to make our stay very special, from the delicious breakfasts to helping us with anything that we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

Such lovely hosts, you could really feel their passion for hosting. We felt very welcomed and supported with tips and recommendations for restaurants etc. Loved also the view from our room facing the beautiful garden. Such a lovely retreat in the city. Also the smell in the building/room was so nice, it smelled so good in the accommodation. We would definitely go there again!

Le Clos Saluces is a true gem in the heart of Avignon. The attention to detail and the warmth of the hosts make this place exceptional. They spent four years renovating it, and the results are stunning—a perfect hideaway. This place stands out. The hosts' personal touch is evident in every corner. The breakfast is fantastic, the garden is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

we loved everything about this beautiful home. Our hosts Benoit and Jacques were simply the best , making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They have done a wonderful job, transforming an old home into a luxurious retreat. This B/B is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed anywhere in the world. our bedroom was gorgeous, tastefully decorated, and our bathroom was very spacious , with sep. double sinks and mirrors. The weather being warm, we breakfasted outside in the beautiful private garden, was divine. if you ever visit Avignon, put Le Clos Saluces on your bucket list, it’s a wonderful relaxing place to stay, thanks to Benoit and Jacques. Highly Recommended
